it'll probably take a week of perserverence but you need a wind down period, no foods or drinks that will make him/her hyper for say an hour before bed. You have to have a set routine that he/she will get used to. At the same time every evening, say 7ish, play in the bath for 10 min, then cuddle next to you on sofa with a bottle of warm milk whilst reading a short story, then carry him to bed awake and make a big fuss night nioght etc, lay him down and leave the room and let him finish the bottle in bed. Talk too, say, nearly time for bed, lets have a bath, and again lets read a story before bed, so he knows whats coming and hopefully you can get him there nice and calm... good luck!

You havent gone into detail of what happens
An evening routine helps.....dinner, bath and bed......put him/her down for the night, but do not give in and get them out.....
Even if you have to go in every 15 mins through out the night.....
If you could let us know if your baby slept through and is only now waking or has never sleep whether your baby has a bottle or dummies it would help us give better advice....
