I married a wonderful man 3 years ago and he has a 5 yrold son from his previous mariage.My husband only has his son 2 days out of the week and therefore he feels he does not have to disapline his son, my husbands theory is because he only has his son 2 days out of the week that his time with him should be 'fun time' no disapline needed.Now his son has put holes in the wall of our home, throws his toys when he doesn't get his way, kicks our puppy, throws food at the dinner table, has a mouth on him and is just a terror.I have sat back and watched this for 4 years and I am getting tired of it. I feel if my husband doesn't do something now while he is still able to he will be totally out of control in a few more years.What do I do?The kid's mother doen't disapline him and he is in day care 6 days of the wk (even if he is sick) from 6a to 6p.We fight all the time about his son and when I know he is coming over I find reasons to leave the house.PS I have a 12 yr old son he will disapline

Were you using the patch perfectly? Did you take any antibiotics while you were on the patch, and became pregnant? Details please. Trying to find out from real women how effective it is. I know it's 98% effictive, but that is with perfect use, and no other interventions such as medications, etc.

We are due March 27 with our first...but here enlies our problem...my husband was excepted to be a idaho state patrol officer and will graduate from the Academy on March 23 ( which means i only see him on the weekends due to training) We have a 2 week break when he graduates to get moved, and have the baby)He is also a marine corp reservist...So he was supposed to be excused from drill (once a month) for Jan-Mar because of the Academy. Now they are requiring him to be at drill along with the yearly training which will require him to go out to the field March 24-31 (he would be about an hour away at the least) So im freeking out wondering who is going to take me to the hospital (in-laws are out of the question...and my family is to far away) I would really like to have her naturally...so my question is should i chance it and just wait for when she comes and then just wait for my hubby to come in from the field or should i see about getting induced early like right before he graduates??

my LMP was 11/15/2006..i should have expected my next period around the 14 or 15 of december...well on the 10th i had light bleeding...like a pinksh, i had no pain no cramps, later that day (in the night)...i started to bleed more heavy. but still no cramps. well on the 11th i noticed it got darker and heavier and small pin-sized blood clots..today is the 12th and its the same. could this be my period or a miscarriage?...pls i need somebodys help. thank you

WELL, i just found out i'm pregnant.... 8 weeks to be exact...... and i love the idea..... i mean is what i had always wanted...... but one of my friends.... who doesnt know yet ..... gave me instead of water pure alcohol.... i spitted it out, but made me throw up..... am really scare some thing bad can happen to my baby... i didnt know what she was giving me..... i really dont know what to do... any opinins????

i have just been to the hospital to have my antenatal check up, the midwife said my cerivx is closed but soft looking, she can see alot of red blood vessels coming to the surface. does this mean i will go into labour in the next few days? im due 28 dec. (first time mum) and any sign of labour is a god send. anyone out there know the answer??????

My pregnancy with my son James was fine, he was a 6 lb 4 ounce little boy. 5 years later we had the twins Emma and Madison, identicle twin girls waying 5 lb 2 ounce each. And I bled a lil bit and dr said it was because I was carrying 2 kids and the uterus was getting big enough to deliver two. But now I'm carrying one, a girl named Chandler and I'm bleeding a whole heck of a lot more than I did anytime in preggers with twins. Dr said it is just my uterus flushing away access blood. Another dr said that it is because the baby isn't getting enough food, oxygen a nd h20. Opinions please. Women only appreciated!

We have God parents for our daughter, all is set! But with the new baby we are having trouble! My husband has a brother (his family is much closer now after losing his other brother earlier this year) and his best friend (best man at our wedding) and we can not decide who to pick for the God father. We were wondering what people thought of having two God fathers instead of the traditional one God mother and one God father. I am not close to many other women anyways (besides the God mother to our oldest) so I don't mind. Has anyone heard of this, is it okay in people's eyes? I know it's basicly just a "title" these days, but it is important to us. Thanks in advance!!

Is constipation a sympton of pregnancy?
I know that this is going to be TMI. I went to the bathroom this morning because when I awoke my tummy was hurting a little, I was going to have a bowel movement but only one "pebble" came out! Usually days before my period (due on Friday) comes I guess I would have what you could call a very "active bowel" but nothing is happening. My last couple of BM's have been just about the same. And I have been having mild cramps but they feel weird and I've been a lot more gassy this cycle than usual, I've also been feeling a bit mildly nauseated. Can someone help me please

I was breastfeeding for the 1st weeks of my baby girl's life, but have now went back to work and have had to supplement formula as well as breastfeeding at night and trying to pump during the day at work. My mother in law watches her during the day and feeds her Goodstart w/Iron DHA ARA. I tried her on Enfamil w/Iron at first, but she would just scream and scream it seemed like in pain. Then her pediatrician put her on Enfamil for fussiness and gas and my baby would not take that. As of Thanksgiving, I tried Goodstart because I heard of the comfort proteins in it that make it easier on babies tummies because it has already broke down the proteins. Well, everyday, around 3p.m., she goes into a screaming fit for about an hour. My mother in law thinks it's because of the Iron in the formula. She thinks that because she drinks the formula all day, it is too hard on her tummy by mid-day. Any formula's out there w/no iron or low iron? Did you run into this problem w/belly aches from iron?

Ok. I've been mentoring a 12 year old girl since she was 4. Her older sister was a straight A student in 8th grade and is currently a high school drop out with a 16 month old baby. Her mom just moved again. She's currently staying with her (other) sister's friend so she doesn't have to change schools twice in less than a year. (she attends a K-6 elementary school). I've put it on the table, cleared it with the school district, and discussed with her mom that maybe she should stay with us during the week and attend the 6-8 middle school by our house so she only has to change schools once (not sure how long this arrangement with the sister's friend is going to last) my husband thinks we should wait until the end of the school year if we're going to take her, or wait for a real "Crisis." She's already a year behind in school (2 years in 2nd grade) and her best chance of graduating high school is in a different household. Thoughts? Oppinions? Suggestions?

Not this past Sunday, but the Sunday before my GF and I had sex and the condom broke. Two days later on Tuesday she took Plan B. Two night after that, this past Thursday we had sex when the condom broke again! She started her period yesterday and I was just wondering if there's any possible way she could still be pregnant? Would Plan B have still been in her system to stop the pregnancy? OR would her period be a sign that she's not pregnant?
