my girlfriend n i havent had sex for about 3 months,she had her periods for the past two months though last month it was 3 days early.now she is 5 days late,she gained abit of weight and is kinda in an upset mood more often.she has no other pregnancy symptoms and assures me she's not pregnant but can she?she has a light spotting yesterday but stopped today(let me remind u we havent had sex for 3 months so it cant be implantation bleeding)so could she still be pregnant?what are the chances and if she's not what might be the cause for the really late period this month

If she hasn't had sex in 3 months there is absolutely no way she is pregnant. Are you worried that she is sleeping with someone else? It sounds like you are young, most teenagers do not have regular periods, they often do not become regular until the woman is in her late teens to early 20's. If she is worried, you can get a pregnancy test in any drug store.

I would go to a doctor because it could be something serious. Spotting, mood changes all are some signs of pregnancy, but if there hasn't been sex in 3 months, if a pregnancy test is negative, a doctor is the best option.

their are many many factors that could cause this
1. increase or decrease in physical activities
2. hormones
3. depression
4. cyst on her ovaries
5. weight gain itself causes the symptoms you mentioned
6.poor diet
i think it could be a range of things
probably depression is the core of it.
i suggest you and her find a good church to visit , even if you arent religious it help mentally
doctors say prayer alleviates stress which causes depression.
just to be safe....get an over the counter pregnancy test for a few bucks at wal-mart

i don't want you to get made because your girl could be sleeping around i had that same problem and now i am 5 weeks so tell her to take a test and if i wrong then tell her to go get tested for other things any thing can cause that so for your health look in to it

Take a test. A woman can still bleed while she is pregnant. Which makes her think that she is not pregnant.

Yes, she could be pregnant. Take a test and quit having sex so you don't have to wory about such a dumb thing at your age.
