It's strange because when talking about pregnancy we use 9 months as the gestation period, but in fact you are pregnant for 10 month if you use the '4 weeks to a month' calendar. Therefore, when you are 8 months pregnant, if talking to a doctor, you are 36 weeks.

OMG! Lets do the math people! There are 40 gestational weeks. There are 4 weeks in a month. Based on the limited info you gave, I am assuming you are just barely 8 months which would bring us to 36 weeks. I don't know how far into 8 months you are. Why don't you ask your doctor?

well you would think 32 but some weeks have 5 weeks in them so take you due date and subtract the weeks to today. reg gestation period is 40 weeks baby is safe from 37 weeks on they are safe earlier but I mean fully developed lungs are ready. If you are 8 months pregnant you are the next few weeks are gonna be the longest of your life.
