My son is due on the 26th of december,
So far the only name my wife and I can agree on is
"Donavin Leigh Martinez"
I know that Donavin is mispelled, it was intentional, so that we coud call him "Vinny" for short
anyways, We are both still unsure about the name
our other son is named "Johnathan Angel Martinez"
Any last minute Ideas????

my son was born 9 weeks early, he is 6 months old right now, i lay him on the floor and play with him i have helped him to learn to roll over on his belly , he dosent do it very often,, but he isnt crawling yet, makes no signs of trying either, he dosnt put his knees under him, he keeps his feet in the air when he is on his belly, when i put him to bed at nite i find him in the same poistion i have left him, on his back with his head facing the wall, what can i do to help him learn to do all this, my doctor has mention that it could be possiable he might need help to learn how to walk, but i want him to learn on his own,, any helpful suggestions? thanks.

i want to put in child in daycare but she has NEVER stayed with anyone other then myself, her grandmother and my grandmother, i want to put her in daycare before she has to go to pre-k so she is not in shock, how do i get her to go and stay with out crying the whole time she is there? ( when i work out at the YMCA she wont stay in the nursey there not even for an 1 hour while i am working out), need suggestions on what to do, what to tell her, what she can take with her to clam her down?)

My son is now over 10 weeks old and his doctor has been pressing me to start his vaccinations (despite the fact he was born 6 weeks early..)
I had SEVERE reactions to vaccinations as a child, including encephalitis and a seizure that required hospitalization at the age of 4 following a booster..At age 14 when they gave me another booster of MMR to make up for a missed one years before, I walked out of the doctor's office, vomited, and passed out. I was sick for three weeks following. My daughter had very severe pain reactions following her 4 and 6 months rounds that made me take her to the hospital..she was crying hysterically for hours afterwards and ran a fever for ten days each time. Now I have this doctor breathing down my neck to start him on his rounds..anyone have some good advice here? Anyone else with a severe reaction?

This morning for the first time, i noticed after I squeezed my breast that there was some milky fluid coming out, then I tried the other one and same thing, my last period was Nov 25, I know there is no way I can be pregnant and already be producing milk, can anyone tell me if they have had the same experience. I have a docs appt tomorrow.

Hi everyone! Im 26 weeks along with my first baby...Im wondering what is a very good informational book that helped you cope or deal with knowing what to do with a brand new baby??? (once its here not the books that say what there doing while im pregnant)Im looking for informative but not too dull to read?? Also a good book for my husband to read ?? My stepson is 13 & one of the hardest people to shop for! Hes intrested in reading, science & art. We though about getting him a Visa gift card, but it seems so impersonal for your own child. The problem is his mother buys him everything name brand & the more expensive the better. We just cant afford to keep up with her. For example, 2 years ago, him & his now 10 year old brother were over for Christmas & we didnt have alot of money then either. After they were done tearing through their lowly gifts, we heard them say, oh boy, now we can go home & open some real gifts. It was very hurtful to both of us! So I guess I have 2 questions. What to buy & what to do if they react in this manner again?

im only 14 years old ill be 15 in 4 months but i just found out that im pregnant...he's not that much older than me...hes only 17...i think that it would be better to move in with him for the baby's sake...but he lives about 45 minutes away...would it be illegal? would my parents have to go to court over it? do you think its a good idea?

Does anybody know if this report is true?
Was the baby injured? It sounds like a hell of a fall!
Were the parents ever punished for such neglectful, even maliscious behaviour towards their own child?
Were social services called?
I mean, how can any just go around leaving innocent infants in places where they could very easily get hurt? It is just so cruel.
I'm really upset!
If anyone knows if the poor little mite survived, even if it was crippled for life, please, please let me know!

Okay I am 7 months pregnant and went to the bathroom yesterday and wiped away bright bright red blood. Not too much of it but only once. Went to the bathroom since and am fine. I called my doctor today and am going in for an ultrasound at 3PM. However, have any of you mom's had bleeding and everything turned out to be okay? It is not normal is it? Thank you

He's 3 months sleeps from 11pm-6am, then drinks 6oz. in the morning. The rest of the day he eats 4 oz. every 2 hours, but i was wondering if i could just give 6 oz. and then he would eat every 3-4 hours?

My soon to be husband and I would like to have kids soon and I've thought about babysitting so I can stay at home with the baby. The problem with this is that I breed cats so I have about 10 cats at my house. Would the parents worry about all of the cats and not want me to babysit their child(ren)? I'm just curious of parents' views and opinions on this.
