I don't understand why women don't understand. If you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant. Doesn't matter if you use protection there is still a chance you can get pregnant.
In your case dear, you made a major mistake. The doctor I am sure said wait 4 to 6 weeks and you did not. There could have caused permanent damage to your birth canal. I think you need to contact your OB/Gyn and tell him.

There's a very good chance of pregnancy. Women are most fertile right after giving birth because all the eggs that weren't released during pregnancy are being released at that time. I would use more preventative measures for awhile and get tested in a few weeks. Good luck with this and congrats on the new baby!

What??? A week after giving birth??? Whoa! Why? I have a baby too and I can't imagine trying to have intercourse after giving birth so soon...especially if you had a vaginal birth.
I hope you don't start bleeding really bad or get an infection...you are suppose to wait at least 6 weeks before having sex...I know your dr told you that.

you probably wont get pregnant to quick again, you really dont have much to worry about. The quickest i have ever heard of someone getting pregnant is three months after giving birth, so you'll be fine.

Those are very high chances. What was soooo important that you couldn't wait the six weeks? There are other options besides actual intercourse you know. Sorry if you are, but I guess you will have to accept it.
