Were you using the patch perfectly? Did you take any antibiotics while you were on the patch, and became pregnant? Details please. Trying to find out from real women how effective it is. I know it's 98% effictive, but that is with perfect use, and no other interventions such as medications, etc.

I didnt, but my cousin did! She was using the patch perfectly and was not on antibiotics. She just got pregnant with her little girl. Other than that I dont know much, but I know she was using it perfectly because she was afraid to get pregnant again. I know they werent using any other birth control though. Hopefully this helps!

I was on the patch and got pregnant, and I changed that thing the same time once a week at the same time and everything. I was way under 198 lbs and still am at 35 weeks pregnant. Birth control is not 100% unfortunatly. Maybe one day they will be able to find a method that is, but I don't see it happening right now besides abstinence.

I've been using it for 11/2 years and it has not failed me yet. I've also taken over the counter medications for my allergies and cold medications when I've been sick and it still works well. But as the package says it's still only 98% effective. So there is ALWAYS the slim chance that it could still happen.

My roommate's sister became pregnant while on the patch. she said that half of it would occasionally peel off a little and she thinks that's the reason why she became pregnant.
