most of the time but there are cases of women getting pregnant while on their period, It all depends on when you are ovulating usually 14 days from the first day of your period, now there have been cases of people getting pregnant at anytime during the cycle that is why the rhythm method does not work if you do not want to get pregnant then use protection every time. after reading your question again are you asking if you are on your period does that mean that you did not conceive? if that is the question then it all depends on your flow if it is really light some women can have a period for 3 months, it is not really a period it is your body getting rid of extra blood before the mucus plug develops, that is why you here all these stories of women saying well i had a period every month, that is a rare occasion, but if you are having your period then 99.9% you are probably not pregnant.

Maynot be, sometime bleeding may happen during early pregancy and you may thot it to be menstruation. So, it is best to consult a doctor when you miss your menstruation or when you suspect that you may be pregnant.

when you ovulate you release an egg. If that egg goes unfertilized then its released by a period. If your pregnant you do not ovulate therefore there is no egg to be released. So no you cant have a period and be preggo.

You can have bleeding but it isn't a true "period"
