Note: When getting rid of the packaging for gifts, remember to put the trash into a black trash bag. This will help to ensure that a break in for the new items in your home will be safe, as well as yourself and family.

Don't forget to turn christmas lights off when no one is up and about in the house. Don't want your Christmas joy to be ruined by a fiery blaze of Evergreen.

Be safe and Happy Holidays!

Depends on if it's a boy or a girl. I got my 9 yr old neice a small silver heart necklace. Although she also likes books and toys.

I think when my nephew was that age I got him a book or something. I know one year I got him a wierd musical instrument from another country - just trying to foster new experiences.

My nephew is 9 and for the past few years and he has asked for gift certificates to a video game store so he can buy games for his gameboy and XBox.

At this age I think both boys and girls are starting to prefer to shop for themselves, so if you ok the store with the parent, a gift card is a fun gift that makes the kid feel grown up.

buy something that helps you interact with them. Board games over video games. I just taught my 9 and 11 yr old to play monopoly they love it!

How fun is that?
