Usually 2-3 weeks after sex is good enough. If you havent' had sex again in the last month, the result will most likely be accurate.

Stress is one of the most common things to affect cycles. It can bring it on sooner or make it VERY late. I've been up to 3-4 weeks late without being pregnant.

Stress effects cycles all the time. So does anything else, your body doesnt always have a rhyme or reason.

Its certainly a good time to test. Since your period is irregular some times anyway, test again in a week or so if you dont get a positive.

You can even save yourself all that bother and just go down and insist on blood work from your doctor. Thats easier and more sensitive to the hormones.

Yes, you can test 14 days after sex. It may be stress or just irregularity. Some people are more prone to stress affecting their cycle than others. Take the test! If it's negative than you can relax and your period will come.

Yes it's soon enough. Most pregnancy tests are sensitive enough to pick up HCG (pregnancy hormone) 1 day after your missed period. Stress can be a big factor in a late cycle, especially if you're anxious to find out if you're pregnant.
