Ok - I am WAY past high school BUT I am married to the guy of my dreams so maybe I can help... The best place to start is to ask him questions about himself. Ask him about his interests and hobbies, ask him his opinion on something, ask about his family - favorite movies, his pets, football, etc... think of things to ask him.... this will lead to more conversation and help you get to know him - plus it will make him feel important - everyone loves it when someone else shows an interest in them by asking them questions about themself.
And a little secret between us girls.... guys will think YOU are very interesting even if all you talk about is HIM!!!! LOL!

Some of the best relationships in the world came from people who had NOTHING in common. To get started ask questions, then you'll find out what he likes to talk about. Ask "Whens your fav team playing again?" Then he says "The Seahawks play this thursday" You say: " You like the Seahawks? I had no idea! Why are they your fave?" (this works with any sport, and any team) Then he starts talking about football, you listen, nod and smile and you'll learn about what sport he's into. Then ask about things that all guys like: Video games, cars, music etc. Before you know it you'll know what to talk about because you will have gotten him to open up about what he likes to do in his spare time. I hope you find this advice helpful. Good luck!

well you both are into sports try talking about that or music that you like and or shows you've been to and if he is into the same music then suggest to go see the band or person together, or ask if there is party that might be coming up or what they are doing for the holidays, or a movie that you want to see maybe he'll want to see it too, well the sky's the limit hell talk about the sky lol
-good luck

Talk about training for sports! You both play them and you work out to get ready.
Also find out some of his other interests and learn something about them, but it's better to like someone that likes some of the same things you do, instead of trying to find stuff to talk to someone you have nothing in common with.

Well, you have classes with him, so maybe talk about an assignment you have, or how you hate/like one of your teachers. Because if there is a hated teacher its hard to go wrong when talking about them. As you talk more, it should be easy to move on to other topics and learn more about them
hope this helps

I have the same problem. Just smile and hope he has something to say or you could ask him if he has a screen name. It's easier to think when you aren't looking into his face.
