I took a pregnancy test a few minutes ago and it was positive, my husband hasn't been home for 2 weeks, what should I do?

My daugther is 3 and has been in speach theorpy for 18 months. I switched to a different speech theorpist about a month and a half ago. She told me that my daugther never had a speech problem, her tonsils are to big for her throat. Not one doctor has figured this out. It's upseting to know that her regular doctor over looked this EVERYTIME we went to her office. So now we are scheduled for surgery this week and I don't know how to feel.

i want to have my baby baby daddys in jail comin out march 1st another 3 months my family dont want me to have the baby but i want it and so does my man im 14yrs old nd my mansz 18yrs old he does construction,landscapin,electricity and more nd he will b makin the money i mean ill have a job and errything i know that things will b o.k with taken care of the baby its that my parents are sayin dat they gone put me in a home nd tell my cps worker or probation officer that they dont want me there no more and i dont want to go to a group home das my concern if i got to a place where theres like a home for young teens to stay at nd live there i dont want to b there can my parent really do that? how can i change t around if i dont want to go there?i dont want my baby to b in adoption i dont go with that at all.so what are other ways?pllz hep me!!!

I need some good advice please! My baby girl is due in February, and I have been working part-time during the pregnancy. Originally I was planning on going back to work full-time around six months after the baby is born but I'm now not so sure...friends have told me different things, should I give up work completely??? People who are/have been in a similar situation what are your plans/did you do???

I heard that the baby's initial weight depends on the father.. Well my husband was a huge baby. 9 1/2 ponds now I am scared. My last son was only 7 ponds 11 oz. and I was in labor with him for 28 hours and 10 of them were intense. If you know anything please let me know!!!

I have a niece who just turned two and can't stand to be held or touched. She has been this way since she was an infant. This seems very unusual to me since none of my four kids did this. And I thought I remembered that type of behavior being a sign of something. Is it something the parents should be worried about? Or am I just being too paranoid?

My husband and I have an arrangement. I shave his face, the back of his neck, and his entire back and in exchange he gently shaves my legs and armpits and carries me to our bedroom and lays me on my stomach for a RELAXING back massage. Here lately, our 8-year-old daughter has seen me shave her father's face upteen times. Now, she is whining that she wants to shave her father's face. I am not sure if it is that she wants to do it or that she wants to do it because she sees me do it. Anyway, we have agreed that she can ONLY do it if I hold her hand and guide her through it. There is, of course, the issue of her holding a razor, but I would have control. We are not sure if we should let her or not, but I have a strong feeling we should, because we want to include her in this, too. Should we? Also, if we do let her do this, should we do something nice for her, too? I mean something like make her favorite food, something small to that effect. What do you think?

It's been going on since she came out of nappies. We've been to various doctors, specialists, urologists and enuresis clinics, and tried all sorts of alarms, sensors, timers, lights, sheets, pads, pull-ups etc. In fact, I don't think there is anything we haven't tried. She's at the age where money is becoming more important to her and I'm considering introducing a bribe / fine system. Any thoughts?

He generally screams when dicsiplined...we use time outs as the main discipline. We have tried taking things a way from him, but no object matters enough to him. He was in foster care with his sister for almost a year. He is three now, going on four and his sister is 2. We adopted them about 6 months ago. Any suggestions will be helpful. Keep in mind...we will NOT use corporal punishment.

Hi. I am a 15 year old female, and im very scared/worried. My boyfriend and i engaged in unprotected sex two weeks ago. I am aware it was a STUPID decision..we were caught up in the moment and not really thinking. Well, He was only in for a little while, and i made him pull out at the first sign of "getting the feeling," although he wasn't even close. After that, i gave him oral sex for at least 10 minutes, until he came. I was wondering, what are the chances of me being pregnant? I know i can trust him, and he swears up and down that he wasn't even close, and i even brought up the subject of pre-*** to him. I also mentioned how i read that if the male hasn't urinated since the last ejaculation, leftover sperm could be pushed through the urethra. He says he CAN feel it happen, that it happened while i was giving him oral sex, and that he urinated that morning. (We had sex at about 9:00am.)I've been having stomach pains, but they're not only in my stomach, i also get them in my chest and back, and my ribs are sore, so im not sure if that is a symptom of pregnancy. I'm just VERY scared that i could possibly get pregnant. I forgot to mention that i was on the last or second to last day of my period.

My boyfriend and his guy friends tell me not to trip, but i can't help it! I'm not ready to hae a baby yet, but my boyfriend and i have been together for 2 years and we're closer than most couples. I may be 15, but i'm mature for my age and i know it was a stupid decision. I've talked with him about birth control, and we both agreed that we'll only use condoms. We had sex after that time, but he wore a condom AND i didn't let him ejaculate while we had sex. So i hope this one time of bad judgement won't end up being a punishment.

I'm 18 and I AM I dad, this is just an old name.

ANYWAY, my daughter is 5 months old and me and my girlfriend live in a spacious apartment in new york. I love my girlfriend Abby so much but I've been worried about her...

Ever since our daughter was born, she never recovered. She is constantly tired and is in bed all day, which means I'm up with the baby so its easier on her. Unfortunately doctors said the best thing is that our daughter stays away from her until she gets better. Now I am depriving her of her own daughter and it feels terrible.

My daughter doesn't sleep well either, so she sleeps on my chest on the couch as i give my girlfriend the entire bed.

I'm a nervous wreck worrying about her...
What should I do?

Im 27 weeks...So I went to the OB today to get my glucose test. I was told It would take an hour. I did the same with my last child, one hour. As soon as I was done with the drink the nurse came in and said "3 hours eh??" I said "no..." I didnt have three hours, only the one hour I was told it would take to do the test. Tunrs out they gave me the wrong drink, I was supposed to get the one hour test but instead they gave me 3 hour. She gave me the choice of staying and getting my blood drawn a total of 4 times, or just come back another day to do the one hour one. I stayed, i live kinda far from my OB, got the 4 draws, thankfully granny was the babysitter, but still... My Q is how many people NEED a 3 hour test and why? I dont quite get the difference in seeing after one hour or every hour for 3. Have any of you had to take a 3 hour test?

She had a 102.2 fever for two days but has a normal temp. today. I took her to the doctor who said it may be a virus. She has no other symptoms. The doctor asked me if she had a strong smell to her urine. I wasn't sure what was normal. Her urine was a little darker than normal...anyone have a child who had a UTI and can tell me more about possible signs or symptoms?

okay...this is my 2nd pregnancy, but I have forgotten so much. I have had a terrible cold, sinus infection type thing going on. I had a Dr.'s appointment yesterday and forgot to ask (they are closed today) if using over the counter nose spray is ok. The active ingrediant is Oxymetazoline HCI 0.05%. It is just a nasal decongestant. Do you think there is any problems with that?

i've read lots of places that you can't spoil a new born. i beg to differ! my son is just barely 3 months old. hes ok in the morning, but once afternoon hits, he wants to be held. and the minute you put him down, the screaming starts...pick him up...he stops! this has been going on for a month now. i feel bad cause he can't even sit up on his own yet...and i'm sure hes bored, but i can't get a THING done and i stay home all day! i hate to hear him cry, but i have to do something. any suggestions?

what are you buying your 5 year old son for x-mas?
my son wants everything he sees on t.v.
i am really having a hard time getting him something he will like.
he has soo many cars, that he doesn't need anymore.
he's got computer software for children.
he's got leap frog, pixtar, other educational toys..
i need ideas from others as to what your getting your kids for x-mas.
i could get him clothes, shoes etc.. but that will be no fun for him when he opens it.
