What holidays does your daycare close besides the obvious ones easter christmas and thanksgiving. If your daycare is closed for holidays do you still have to pay? I am a daycare provider and I am just looking to see what others are doing. We are in upstate NY. fAMILY DAYCARE

Hi all; a continuation to my earlier question on the subject. I have discovered that during menstration the amount of breastmilk decreases so I half expected more feedings and thought I may have to supplement as I am not producing 5 - 6 oz per feeding. My baby has always been a hungry hippo and is about 20lbs. He woke up at 12:30am after his last feed and wanted to play instead of sleeping and then woke again at 6:30am. Maybe hormone changes affect taste but he's not rejecting the breast just completely changing up his day/night pattern. Any thoughts?

Why don't guys stress when they find out their fiancee is pregnant?? I am stressed out a little and he is calm. Does do this for me?? Is he stressed a little bit on the inside?? I am 19 and recently lost my friend. She died and child birth so I didn't want to have a kid right now but my fiancee convinced me to keep it. We are rich(my parents and his both have a ton of money and gave us alot when they heard about the engagement and again when they heard bout the baby. We don't owe anything on our house.) I am just worried that something will go wrong. WHY DOESN'T HE WORRY AT ALL???????

My wife had been on the pill for about a year and she stopped using it about a month ago. We've been having sex every day and haven't used any contraceptives. She was supposed to get her period about 3 days ago and still hasn't got it. Is it safe get pregnant right after getting off the pill or should we wait about 6 months as I've been advised by some? We're not even sure if we're pregnant but it's good to know.

My stepson and his wife have decided it's up to their children as to whether or not they will be homeschooled.

Fair enough, if you're talking about teens, but the kids are both under 6 (and, with few social skills)!

Oh, by the way, neither parent have any experience teaching, much less any degrees or certifications.

It's killing me keeping my mouth shut, so I am sounding off here, and would like to see what others think.

So, do you think a kid that young has ANY business deciding what sort of education is best for him? Am I nuts, or what?

Okay so I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my breath seems to be pretty noticeable. Anybody have any suggestions? I've been brushing my teeth like crazy and using mouthwash.....which my gums aren't thrilled with. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Im expecting in 3 weeks now, and I've just bought a treadmill. I want to start walking on it for a bit every day, but people in my family say it isn't safe for whatever reason. Has anyone else used a treadmill in pregnancy, and what is your opinion on using one?

I have agreed to consider ttc in the upcoming year. We'll be 29 (me) and 34 (him) soon, and a year older than that when the baby is born. We've been married for almost 6 years, together almost 9. We're very financially stable and have a great relationship.

That's the good.

This is the bad. I don't want a baby. I don't want to be pregnant or give birth (he doesn't want to adopt or use a seragate). I'm not the mothering type. I don't coo at babies or have much interest in kids. We agreed on not having kids when we got married. He changed his mind a year into the marriage and I can tell he's not happy because he doesn't feel he's accomplishing anything without a child. But I'd be the one home with it during the day. I think having children would be very boring and tedious. It's great for others. But not for me.

Should I just suck it up and have a baby? Neither of us is interested in divorce no matter what the outcome.

if you read my previous question you have an idea of whats going on.
My daughter who is 11 yr old got grounded this morning. please read previous question for full details. Anyways I have come up with an idea since she is not a morning person and neither am I. I will talk with her after school and give her achance to clean her room, however there still has to be punishment forbad behavior this morning. I was thinking sh*t jobs around the house , like scrubbing the tub and taking out the trash, cleaning her cat litter box, so and so forth to get off grounding what do you think??

This is driving me nuts, im 11 weeks pregnant and under my boobs have been itching like crazy and around my stomach. What is going on. It seems to early for stretch marks but maybe not? I use palmers cocoa butter pregnancy massage cream. And its not that because ive been using that for a long time and its never happened. so what do you think it is....???

Stop downing young women about their choices. People are here to get answers for their questions not to be disrespected by other people. I know there's alot of "Am I pregnant" questions on here and it bothers me too but if you're like me you'll tell them one or two things: go to the doctor or get an hpt. I'm the proud parent of a 17 month old baby girl and I'm expecting my second in May and I love every second of it. Some women don't get to experience that joy so for some people to be negative towards women who do its sad. Everybody has a right to ask whatever they want so respect that.

And yes I know it's not a question before anybody says anything so no smart comments. Congrats and good luck to all those who are expecting!!!!

I'm about to be a father and my mother-in-law is dead set on naming my son Ezekiel, Zeke for short. My wife doesn't want to upset her mother, but I hate the name. When she asked me about it I told her " What, are we Amish?" and Zeke just sounds like white trash.
