I have heard that if u have sex with woman on top u will concieve a girl and if u have sex 3-4 days before ovulation with no climax. Then if u have sex in missionary position and closer to ovulation or on ovulation u will concieve a boy. I was just curious as to whether or not this has really been accurate for any of u? I am 5 weeks pregnant and HOPING for a girl as i have one boy and one girl already. I had sex 1 day before ovulation with hubby and i was on top with no climax *sorry*...Whatever my baby is I will be happy and blessed but just hoping for another girl..=)

My mother in law wants to buy my 2 yr old and 8 month old a portable dvd player for a table top and you can put it in the car. I said it was a great idea, but it wouldn't work because when we are driving the seats get in the way, unless I drive with my seat erect, which I can't do. I have a bad back. I told her it was a great idea. I'm going to buy two for the headrests so the children can look directly straight infront of them, I'm saving money for it. She sounded upset. We don't travel much, and if we did travel to families or somewhere else the travel dvd player would be pointless because we would want to spend time with the family. So was I rude to not except a gift idea? I don't need it, it would be pointless. plus my daughter has torticollis, and she is suppose to look infront of her not to the side.

My son and daughter-in-law have a three bedroom home .....my grandson has no health problems and he is very bright. I think it is unhealthy for him to be still sleeping with his mom and dad. NOR could it be healthy for my son and his wife. I am not at all saying it is anything wierd...but I am worried that they are instilling dependance and he is already a mommas boy ....except when im around and that instead of them taking joy in the fact we have a strong bond they seem jealous ...oh BTW this is the first child and was inseminated after they tried for years. Is this OK and I'm being over concerned ...or shouldnt he be sleeping in his own room in his own bed?

hi every one this might osund like a stupid question to some of you. i'm between 5 and 8 weeks pregnant i had a scan a couple of weeks ago and they wernt sure if i was 4 or 5 weeks. i just wanted to know how soon you could start showing i'm only small this is my first pregnancy size wise i'm between a 6 and and so theres not much of me. i just feel bigger than normal so was just wonering

I am 3 months pregnant with my second child. My doctor is on vacation for another 2 weeks, so I can't ask him this... I need something to help me out with heartburn and nausea. I have AWFUL heartburn and nausea all day long. It doesn't matter what I eat, how I sleep, what I drink.. I drink water and I get heartburn. I have some candied ginger I chew on that slightly helps the nausea, but not the heartburn, and TUMS and ROLAIDS only help the heartburn for a short time... I obviously need something safe for pregnancy and hopefully a food or something that will help... thanks

My daughter and i are really close..she's my princess. I also have a son and a stepdaughter. My son is a boy of course and my step daugher is a tomboy...she's acts more like a boy than a girl. BUT my daughter is my little girly girl. I am PMSing right now and i dont know if she senses it or what but it always seems like around that time we BOTH go through it and she's only 7...almost 8. Last night she comes to me just crying her eyes out telling me how much she misses great grandpa (she met him once maybe twice) I think she just felt like crying to be honest. Is that normal. I am sure it's just an instinct...but i was just wondering how many other people go through the same thing with their daughter???

Today I missed my second period. I wasn't expecting to miss the first period, since my husband had just had his reversal done. But here I am, two months later. All the urine and blood tests have been negative. Its not stress. I've not taken birth control in years. I'm always regular. My doctor's office said to wait the weekend, then schedule an appointment on Monday if my period still hasn't started. So for those that have also had this happen, what kinda of tests can I expect? And were you later proved to be pregnant? I'm just so impatient for modern medicine to tell me what I already know! I have three children, I've just never missed two periods without being preggy. Or had the tests and my body not agree.

I have been trying to get pregnant for a while and am not due for my period until this Sunday but I spotted yesterday once and it was a milky discharge with some pink. I have had sore breasts which I never have before my period. I haven't spotted since.... so my question is could I be pregnant? Have any of you tested positive in a similar situation ?

Im a little confused because im trying to concieve so i bought an ovulation kit from clear blue easy and the kit showed a happy face which means that i will be ovulating within the next two days so i had sex that same day and two days later but i was also having sex days before the happy face came out so my question is...are those kits really effective and if so then why didnt i come out prego??
