Mr. Harper is doing a fine job, and if you're from Ontario then you're definitely hoping that Mr. Rae does not win the liberal leadership race...

Because the states are our neighbors, we actually need to have really good relations with them. We do a lot of business with them, and it may be very bad for our economy if a good relationship did not exist. Don't forget Harper did stand up to Bush on the Softwood Lumber dispute, the results may not have been exactly what we wanted but he progressed further on the issue than the Liberals ever did.

I'm not sure why you think we need to ummm "Stand up" to the states, really there's no trouble brewing between the two countries (And by the way in the past we have stood up to them, when they tried to invade our country way back when we pushed them back, and burned down the white house)

My only gripe about Mr. Harper is that he hasn't yet started talks with the leadership in Pakistan.

Our boys are fighting their hearts out over in Afghanistan to make things better (I fully support the war in Afghanistan, and NO we are not on a peace keeping mission there in spite of popular belief).

Anyhow, far away from the point i wanted to make. Mr. Harper needs to start talks with Pakistan, because so long as Pakistan provides safe havens for the Taliban to regroup, all of the NATO soldiers in Afghanistan have their work cut out for them.

I almost forgot, if there ever were a military crisis, I'm sure our friends in the US would help us out, and since we're pretty short on bodies, we'd probably need the help.

My only other question for you, is why is this question in Pregnancy???

Prime Minister is two words. This is the wrong place for the question. (And we are not yet having an election)
I don't believe he was speaking of war--funny you would jump to that conclusion though.
Standing up to the USA could also involve economic issues.
You do not protect our borders. (from who exactly?) And how are you helping us exactly?
We need a good relationship with other countries, including the USA. This poster probably wanted to get a lot of negative response from people, for his own enjoyment.

Two points for me!

This pertains to pregnancy how?

And, I happen to think the USA is a wonderful country who helps those around it, even Canada, why stand up to someone who's boosting your economy and protecting your borders?

If the topic is constrained to potential in the chief's own u . s . a ., then "Ricky T" is the only individual earlier me with brains. potential over the courts and all levels of government in Canada stay entirely with the best Minister. Legally, the queen or king of england is greater effective, yet they "employ" the Governor everyday and "approve" of the government; the British monarch is a figurehead. thankfully, no longer in basic terms like the US, if Canada have been caught with an fool for a countrywide chief, he could be deposed of without delay with the aid of parliamentary device of government. the US is caught with the Smirking Chimp for 2 greater years except impeachment or a bullet provide up him. .

I agree with the others, this is an easy 2 points. This has nothing to do with Pregnancy! I'm hoping you just got the wrong category!
