Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 November 2006

I worked really hard this year in school and got 90s in every other class but Math... in which I got a 65 (which is passing but is one point away from failing.) I don't know how to tell them or how they will react soo... how would you react or like to be told if your child was in this situation?

So i was just curious and wondering what others peoples views are on circumstison me and my partner are having boy and dont really know much about this.i myself have never been with someo ne who wasnt circumstised and have no idea what the other half look like.i also heard some doctors wont do it anymore
so i would love to hear from you if u had boys that were or wernt why or whynot what influenced ur desicion im so stuk on this

My husband and I are pretty protective of our kids, they are both young teen girls 12 and 13.

Our youngest daughter asked if she can start having male friends call the house, she is a pretty friendly person and knows lots of kids, actully a particular male friend, she does not like him as a boyfriend but as a friend (that is what she says) My husband said absolutely NOT, and made a Pretty big deal about it.

She has been begging for a cell phone and a MY SPACE, she has neither, (but she did recently behind our back get help from kids at school on how to set up a MY SPACE without getting my permission, it is now closed)

What do you recommend as the best way to start allowing some freedom so they do not feel so smothered and resentment. I am just afraid that if I am too hard nose they will start to do things behind our back.

I appreciate your Parental suggestions. Thank you.

If a girl chooses to get an abortion why wouldnt they do it very very earl on, why wait til u are showing and the baby has all organs and can actually feel pain? I am totally 100% against abortion and jst dont understand what makes them get one soo late,,,,

I had a normal cycle in Sept. In Oct. I spotted a few days. I took a home test the end of Oct. it was negative. I still have not had a normal cycle, around the time I was suppose to start my cycle this month I spotted one day. My lower abdomen is tender, I can't stand to wear anything that does not stretch. I can't stop worrying about this. Could I be pregnant or could be something else?

We have a 14 year old girl who has ADHD VERY badly. She was tested when younger, and as she grows older it's getting worse. Her improvements are VERY minute. I'm wondering if anyone else is facing these same problems, and what suggestions you may have. Here's a few things we're going through:
1. No matter what happens, it's NEVER her fault (acording to her)
2. Does not take responsibility for any of her actions
3. If she doesn not do an assignment (homework) it's even the teacher's fault
4. No sign of a conciense. Never a sign that she feels bad for what she did. Just feels bad that she got caught.
5. No matter how clear you are about something, she doesn what she wants and then says "I figured..." (in an attempt to justify it)
6. Does not draw any healthy boundaries with people. Even with boys, they can be mean to her, stick their middle finger up, cuss at her or whatever, and then goes right back because they are her "friend". Grounding and punishments do not help.

My five year old son will spend his first Christmas away from me this year to go to his other side of the family. I hate it. I also feel like I am tryig to block emotions too. Anyone ever have to do this and how did you deal with it. I dont know how I will be emotionally and am nervous about it. Im scared it will break a bond with my son and I also. He will be gone for two weeks, the whole holiday! ugggg, terrible. Any suggestions? thanks.

I was three months pregnant I think when the guy who said he was going to marry me left me for a woman that has loads of money. I met this gynocologist and he has helped me loads. After he performed my c-section, things started changing and he asked me to look for another doctor cause he wants to date me. We have talked a lot. He became my friend and he really helped me when I needed to be helped. He loves my baby. He hasn't being disrespectful at all. He's not a creeper. He says he really likes me and I really like him. I think he's the best. He's a lot older than I am but I don't think that matters, but the most important thing for me it's my baby, I want everything for him and I just want to do what it is right for my child and I. Do you think it would be all right to date him?

Im cramping like my period is here but not as bad,down low in my abdomen. My period isnt until the 26th.i usually start cramping one week to a few days before it comes. i have been having unprotected sex all this mont up until yesterday.the past few days is when the cramping started, Is this ovulating cramps or pregnancy? I have found a something that my daughter IS scared of (contrary to another question I had about my daughter I though was fearless). But the problem is she WANTS to play with it!!

Okay, it is that Giggle Remote thing they had out a few years ago I bought it on clearence at Wal-Mart. Anyways, she was like 11 months old and was scared then so we packed it up and forgot about it. I just found it and she went NUTS (in a GOOD way) and she wanted to play with it, but as soon as it started moving she FREAKED out and started crying and hiding behind me, just like the last time it was out nearly a year ago.

Now this time is more brave, as long as the wheels are not going she will TOUCH it and even carry it to me, but as soon as it moves she starts getting upset. What do I do? She wants to play with it but she is scared of it??

LOL! I guess she isn't fearless after all!
