A few weeks back, our 15 month old watched me clean her food from her highchair. I thought it was adorable when she took the cloth from me and started 'cleaning' it herself. Now...we've created a monster....she will *not* eat any food we put in front of her :0 Rather, she keeps swishing back and forth (w/ her hand...no cloth allowed) and seems to enjoy seeing everything land on the floor. She's even swooshing our hands away when we attempt to feed w/ a spoon. Joy... Any suggestions apprecited. Should we just take her food away from her? (btw...she's not loosing weight...she'll drink milk and 'snacks' away from her chair no prob). Tx in advance....

He's only 5 weeks old but some of my friends are saying that I'm already spoiling him. Considering the only things he really wants right now are food, to be clean, and to be held, how can I be spoiling him if I hold him?

Well, my daughter has just discovered something new today--she is playing the harmonica! It is awfully strange to me, because I have often played in the past, but my harmonica has been stuck under the bed for a while now and she just came across it while crawling around today and put it right to her mouth like a pro and started playing it! She actually moves it across her mouth and can keep the noise going for a good 20 seconds or so. Along with playing, she will bop around like she's dancing. I'm in shock. Me being a first time parent wants to believe that she has some amazing talent, but is it normal for a toddler to be able to actually "play" a harmonica? I must also say that she was a month early when she was born and has been lagging behind on a few things along the way, this is the first thing that has made be believe "oh, she might be a bit advanced in certain things." What do you think?

I was reading a question up here where someone asked if there is things you can do to prevent pregnancy after intercourse..I think that she is already late with period or something.. but my question is if anyone knows of those things they say to do right after you have sex! I remember reading a chart like that and it said to jump up and down right after sex to avoid pregnancy!!! anyone know any others???? (this is just for laughs.. and wouldnt advise anyone to try them LOL)

if i were to have unprotected sex right after my menstrual cycle, its highly unlikely that i could become pregnant, right?
you dont ovulate until 14 days after the first day of your menstrual cycle. so therfore that would be the safest time to not become pregnant, right?

I have always wondered how this was possible. My friend had her period for the first four months of her pregnancy -- not just breakthrough bleeding, but the full week-long period, right on time. She tested pregnant the whole time, the baby was there on ultrasound, etc...

Five months after it stopped she delivered a healthy full-term baby. Her doctor told her it's rare, but possible.

I just can't figure out how that would be possible! Any guesses?
