I have a nine month old daugther that I still breastfeed about 4-6 times a day(she's on solids mostly). I began getting my period back when my daugther turned six months. My husband and I are trying to conceive and we tried at all the right times last month(and then some). I thought for sure that I was pregnant, by the way I had been feeling...but...my period was 3 days late, and then it started! It threw me for a loop! Do you think that I will have a hard time getting pregnant while still breastfeeding? My husband and I never had to "try" hard with our other two....first time of planning, and boom, i was pregnant! I have even thought that maybe I'm pregnant and still getting a period, but I know that's just wishful thinking....what do you all think?? Is breastfeeding really going to make is hard for us?

Last night my step-son who is 8 came into the kitchen with a big red welt on his forehead and asked his dad if he could see it. When his dad asked him what happened, he explained that he had punched himself in the head repeatidly. When we asked him why he would do that, he just said "I don't know".
My step-son has had what I would consider an unfortunate childhood at times. He and his sister switch from our house to their mothers house every 3 months. The lifestyles at each house are VERY different and I've always thought this to be hard on the kids. The mother got remarried about 2 years ago and her new husband was very abusive to my step-son, mostly mental but some physical abuse also. He and the mom are now divorced, although they have a child together so he's still around sometimes. My step-son also has a form of dwarfism that keeps him from getting to play sports and he knows he'll be shorter than everyone. I'm worried that there's more going on in his head than he can handle.

I am worried because I am 6 weeks pregnant and This morning I started having some light colored bleeding... Only thing i can think of is that last night my husband and I had intimate relations and then this morning is when I noticed i am bleeding a little..... is this normal or should I call my doctor???? i AM HAVING some mild cramping but not severe???

I am not sure if am pregnant or not (please refer to my last question) but what i am sure of is my stomach is bad!!! If i am pregnant I am probably about 3-5 weeks pregnant at most... and i have been almost constantly queezy (not just in the mroning) for about 4 days now. I have done mostly a lot of dry heaving... not much actual vomit. Could this be morning sickness? and either way what can i do to help my stomach (pepto bizmol says to ask a doctor before taking it when pregnant and therefore i am avoiding it in case i am) Thanks

I have taken two- one yesterday morning and one again this morning, and i have eone more (the bonus 3 pack). They are first response tests. The one i took yesterday had two distinct, clear lines (meaning pregnant) but the one i took this morning had one very clear distinct line and one faded almost transparent line....

Does this mean i am pregnant- or i am not? or when should i take the third test? did i take the secod one too soon? please help i am a little confused.

I was watching a program on T.V.. A doctor said if you are trying to have a girl then you need to have sex one day before you ovulate. He said that male sperm swim faster and if you do it a day ahead most likley the female one will make its way in. My question is do you think he meant the 11th day or the 13th. I know your fertile on the 12th day but you are most fertile on the 14th.

We just put our twins into a daycare two days a week. They are two and 1/2. Well the question is I think it is alot of money to spend when I don't work to have them go to a daycare. they really like being around other children and they need to learn how to share and play with other kids. Any ideas on where or what I could do with them to get them the interaction with other kids without spending the kind of money daycare requires?

Ok so I went off BCP about 2 months ago because my Fiance told me he cannot have kids, (although unverified with a doc) and now I have a feeling I may be pg. ( we never use condoms or anything else) I am supposed to get my period today, but so far no cramping at all, I did however have some *light* spotting yesterday (after sex) and then it stopped. I took 2 Pregnancy tests on Friday because my boobs were really sore (which never happens to me before period) and they showed *very *very *very faint 2 lines on both (2 lines means pregnant) but I assumed something was wrong with the tests or maybe since it was too close to my period they showed that way, anyways I figured if I did have some spotting I must not be pregnant but I just wanted to get some outside opinions.

what can i do about my 15yr old son...he is lazy, he cant even be bothered to wash his face in the morning,his mood swings have us treading on eggshells and he can be really cruel to his brothers..he was a victim of assault earlier this year and this has contributed to his behaviour...he isnt using drugs or drink (yes i am sure) .hes been suspended from school today for bad behaviour and im dreading him coming home tonight-(suspension tomorrow) and im dreading telling his dad that hes acting up again...all in all its making me feel ill,what can i do TODAY to get through to him, hes not a bad kid really, but hes losing his way...serious answers only please
