I think 21 or later is good. enjoy your youth a little more. At least have your first legal drink before your first child. I don't agree with the other girls in waiting til your late twenties, not that it's too old, i just think a lot of people are ready before then. sounds like you will be..

Oh you should be married too. I got married when I was 19, I am twenty now, we are going to wait another 2 years until I finish school.

If you're financially ready and you don't mind waking up every 2 hrs in the middle of the night, then you're ready. Having a baby puts a lot of responsibility on you. During pregnancy, you have to see your gynecologist on a monthly basis for check ups, eat healthy, take prenatal vitamins and most females have pregnancy symptoms that make them very uncomfortable during pregnancy. I believe the worst part is labor. I just gave birth to my son 2 weeks ago and I had to request an epidural. By the way, I'm 27.

As long as you feel you are ready then that is all that matters. No one can really ever afford a child so money shouldn't be a issues ( unless you don't have any at all ) as long as you love them and want them and are ready for them then go for it and the best of luck to you...

If you feel ready--financially, emotionally, and physically--I don't see why not. Everyone puts an age to everything. If you feel you are ready to make that leap and you will take responsibility for your actions (child) then go for it.

How old are you? If you are asking how old you should be, I would guess quite young.
You need to be in a permanent relationship and have the financial stability in order to contemplate having a child.

Those are good years for you to be able to bounce back and be able to catch up with your kid. I would personally advise to wait until after 21, so you have time to enjoy your youth.
