ok well. hes used a condom and so i have no idea how i got pregnant......but im not getting a abortion bcos i dont think its fair.sohow am i going to tell my parents?!?!?!!!!they wud kill mee!! help please xx

My insurance company just told me they only covor ONE sonogram throughoutt the entire pregnancy unless there is pregnancy problems. Is this normal??? How much are sonograms if you pay out of pocket?

I realize that NO ONE can really tell us the answer, but I'm just looking for some experienced advice.

My fiance and I have been discussing trying for a baby. We both REALLY want to start right away. We want kids very badly and we don't really want to wait any longer. That's all I need to know that the time is right. However, he's concerned about finances. We both make around 30k per year right now and we're living in Chicago. It's not much but we're definitely not struggling. He wants to plan and I think that things will fall into place, and that our lives don't stop when we have kids.

Obviously, this will be our first. A good friend of mine told me that if we want kids we should go ahead and try for it, that people always wait till they make more money and that sometimes that day never comes. Should we let money keep us from having what we desperately want now?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

She has begun to cry quite a bit when I put her in her bed, but goes to sleep within 10 minutes or so. Then she'll wake up and cry for long periods of time. I'm not sure if she doesn't want to be left alone or if she's having bad dreams or what. Last night she cried for probably close to an hour before I finally went in and rocked her. I put her back in bed awake and she cried for a little while, not sure how long, then she slept (or at least was quiet) for about half an hour and was back to crying. She has done this for three of the last four nights. (I don't know what was different about the night that was normal.) I'd like for all of us to sleep tonight. Any ideas on what's causing this and/or what to do about it?

I baby sat this 10 year old and i found 2 porno magazines and in his room, and when i asked him about it he said his dad gave them to him! i dont believe that his dad would give him those but i dont think its right to just leave a porno out for a little boy to find!! and when i confronted his dad, he just laughed and said oh ya! then handed me my money and changed the subject, asking if i would come back next weekend!! what do you think i should do????????

My guy and I have been together for 7 months now and I really love his kids. His ex-wife is also really great about letting us take them whenever we want and allowing me to come along on family oriented things like dr. appts., the family counseling, christmas shopping, ect.. My problem is that I have asked my step-son several times to call me Phe, but he calls me mommy anyways. This wouldn't bother me except that on outings with his mother I can see that it bothers her. He also has his sister calling me mommy now. I've asked their father to talk to him about it, but he says it's just a phase and he thinks it's cute. I don't know what to do! I don't want to see his mother be hurt by this and I surely don't want her to think I'm trying to replace her in his life. What can I do to fix this problem?

Started BC Oct. 12. Had unprotected sex several times from Oct. 13-18th. Still continued to take 21 pills and now there's no period during my placebo days which will end tomorrow. Boob soreness, severe nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, general uneasiness. Took home test and negative. Have a doc's appt. Thursday for a blood test. What do you think? What are the chances when I was taking the BC? Could all this just be side effects from the pill?

i already ovulated on the 17th. im 6 days late for my period, and now my cervix is high again, like im ovulating again.. well this time, my cervix is so high i cant even feel it. i doubt that im ovulating because i dont have the type of cm, and i always get a little cramping when ovulating, i have no cramps what so ever, and my breasts are hurting, when i squeeze my nipples they hurt too. could i be pregnant? im waiting till im atleast 2 weeks late to take a blood test.

So my husband and I have been ttc for over 8 months and I finally got a positive test. . . My first test was 1 day after I should have gotten my period and the line slowly turned pink. I used a cheap brand and didn't use first morning... Well... We were excited, but I wanted to be sure. So I waited 3 more days (4 days after AF should have been here) and took another test... This time it was a first response and first morning---the double line showed up dark pink BEFORE I was finished peeing. My question is---is this normal? Never had a positive test and didn't realize it would show up so fast. Also would it be possible to be more pregnant than I think... (We didn't test last month because I had a 4 day period... Which I am never regular so I never know what to expect.) Or is it possible to be twins?? Anyone else have this happen to them?!

My fiance has full cutody of his two girls yet he allows the mother to have visitation and she doesn't have the same rules as we do. To be frank ~ she doesn't have any.

Anyway, when it is just me and the girls, his 6 year old will regularly thow these HUGE fits. When I try to disipline her, (ie timeout or bedtime without snack) and it doesn't work, I tell her that I am going to let her dad handle it and she flips out. Then she tells me that she wants her mommy (which she only brings up in situations like this.)

I don't believe in spanking (and I wouldn't in this case because these are not my children), but she FREAKS out whenever I mention her Dad. I am at my witts end because I find myself arguing with a 6 year old and that is just plain stupid. I really don't want to involve her Dad because it starts off as being a small and petty thing and before I know it is BIG HUGE thing and I wonder how much of it is my doing.

Everyday I go to the park at 6 to meet up with my dog's friends (ok so really they are my friends) I stay out for 45 min - 2 hours depending. I also want to start walking during the day to get some sun and loose weight.

But winter is here. There is another mom in the park and she wants one of us to watch the kids one day and the other to take the dogs to the park and vice versa the next day. I'm not the comfortable with her style of parenting, but everyone keeps telling me it's only for an hour, so what if he cries it won't kill him.

My baby is 8 months and hers is 6. So far they babies seem perfectly happy, and I took my baby out when it was relatively cold when he was a month old in April. (I live in Canada).

So how cold is too cold?

Would you trust yourself/someone else with two little babies for an hour? Even if they are very different parents then you? We both live close the the park and could have a cell phone with us.

every morning at my bus stop there is this mean/rude lady that is always yelling at her kids(2 sons 1 daughter all in middle school).this morning she made her youngest son cry by yelling and calling him pathetic and a retard b/c he triped and dropped his books. and she does that type of thing to all her kids everday.standing out there makes me very uncomfortable.can some1 plz tell me something i can do?

Circumcision of male infants, that is. And also just overall, like of older guys. Do you know anyone who isn't circumcised?

In my human sexuality class, we watched a video on infant circumcision. It showed the baby being strapped down to a "circumstraint", with his legs and arms strapped in. He started crying as the doctor separated his foreskin away from his glans, without any sort of anesthesia. The girls, after the video, said it was sad and that they didn't know they strapped babies down, etc. This other girl and I, realize circumcision makes it cleaner and are all for that, but can't they at least give the babies anesthesia?
