Not my favorite name, but I only offer my opinion since you asked.

I think you are wise to ask folks on the internet rather than you friends and family since they will most likely tell you they like it, so they don't offend you.

But naming a baby is tough.

When we named our son I wanted to make sure that his name would be professional and not keep him from any jobs or opportunities. I tried to picture his name as if he were to become an actor, senator, doctor or business person.

In the end we chose the name Hugh Emerson which I felt sounded artistic (Hugh Grant, Hugh Jackman, Hugh Laurie) and also very professional and dignified. I also like a name that is easy to spell. It gets very annoying to always have to reprounounce your name and spell it out every time you meet someone new. Hugh may not be a popular name, but we like it. Plus, it was the name of husband's favorite uncle - so it has special significance.

Sinorice seems like a speller's nightmare. And every person who has to call his name aloud is bound to mangle and mispronounce it.

You can find creative uncommon names that are not so tough to spell and pronounce and save your son a lot of frustration.

Sounds like one of those names that will make a kid miserable due to nobody being able to spell or pronounce it (and of course there will be others who deliberately mangle it, but that's inevitable)

Also it's not clear if it's a boy's name or a girl's name, if that matters to you. To me it looks like a girl's name.

How would you say that, anyway? Snorris -- rhymes with Morris? Snore-eese -- rhymes with Maurice? Sin-o-reese? Sina-ryece?

Are you picking the name because you're a great admirer of the football player? How will you feel if that player ends up committing a notorious crime, or his career is cut short? Is there anyone else in the world you admire more? Things to ponder...

Sin-or-ree-say. If that is the pronunciation, to me, it sounds feminine. Very musical, but feminine.
