Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 November 2006

I have 5 children however 3 of them are in school and play sports. I have 2 girls who play volleyball and a son in football! I am going crazy trying to shuttle everyone to and from practice/games. We live in the country so its not as if I can go home till the next has to go! Any good routine, or organizing pratices would be much appreciated because I still have a toddler and a newborn to contend with! Before you ask....yes daddy does help when he can however is job requires him to be oncall nights and weekends so its never a gaurantee that I have an extra set of hands!

I have been having simptoms of morning sickness for the past week. I have had tenderness in the breasts and mild cramping in my right side. Im not due for my period for another week. Lastnight I passed a large blood clot and now Im having sever cramping and heavy bleeding. Should I be concerned enough to go see my doc or could this just be a heavy time of the month for me? I know if the bleeding keeps getting worse I should go but right now I dont feel that it is a major concern. Im only going through 1 pad every 2-3 hours.

well for the last three months my period has been two days long and soo light that It was bearly there, and I took a p/t in sept, and it was (-) and know I get really hungry to the point I feel like I'll throw up if I don't eat, and the other night I was so dizzy and had a headache from hell that lasted a half hour then gone, then I also get one stomache once a month for the last three months, like it seems exactly one month from each other, I think I'm pregnant, all my friends do too, but what do you guys think....

i have had sex unprotected and its been a week i had it near my ovulation date but the thing thats worrying me is that im getting severe cramps and it is exactly the cramps i get a day before my periods or the day i get them...does this mean i am not prego....or do cramps take place if im a prego??

I have been trying for a baby and last month i bought an ovulation test i detected the surge and we made love etc etc. I have recently been feeling so hungry and drowzy and i keep getting flutters in my stomach like a butterfly. Big quetion could i be pregnant??? I am due on wednesday!

Well i have took alot of pregnancy test and they have all came up negitive. But i have been gaining alot of weight and im starting to look pregnant. I have a 7-yr old and a 4-yr old who don't take care of their things! I know that's maybe a lot to expect out of the 4 year old, however, putting things away when you are finished with them isn't a lot to ask. I have cleaned their room and organized it many many times. I have thrown things away, I have purchased totes and labeled them, I have tried many many things to help them keep their things nice. However, there is stuff everywhere!! I can't control it! They seriously don't own all the parts and pieces to one toy because things are lost the moment they go upstairs. I asked my oldest when the last time she saw all the parts to her Barbie house and she said when it was in the box! how sad is that? Ok so everyone probably thinks I am a mean tyrant, however I think that being thankful and taking good care of ones things is a good lesson to learn. Any suggestions on how else I can do this??
I have taken away their radio now until their room is clean. I dont know what else to do

I have a daughter who is 3 (4 early next year) and has recently started showing some disturbing behavior. She does the same things every day that she knows she shouldn't be doing. When in trouble, refuses to go to time out or listen. She will do what she wants to do. She knows it gets me very angry. I have tried taking things away, spanking, ignoring her tantrums, you name it. Nothing works or affects her. I have been trying the positive reinforcement, but lately she won't even do anything to earn things! I am at my wits end! Help!

Okay, this weekend we had a scare, we came home and the air was not right, we were lucky, we were not sleeping, it was way past our bed time,
so the fire dept, came, and paramedics checked us out. we were fine.
We were not able to return home till the poison passed,and the problem fixed.
Concidering I had three children in the house my priority was them, and their well being.

I totally forgot I was pregnant.
Could this have affected the baby?
( I forgot to mention a few days prior, I woke up in the middle of the night, extremely sick, vomit/and stomach pains)
what would you do?
Seeing oxygen is the only cure,.what can a doctor really do at this point?
any input would be nice.

(just wanted to add, please get a detector if you dont have one! We are a family of 5, and each one of us would have passed, had we been in the home over two hours they said, the reading was 100 ppm, and 35ppm is lethal , thats why we were able to smell it,

My son is almost 2 and-a-half, and is having great difficulty adjusting to the arrival of my daughter, who is now 3 weeks old. Any time my daughter cries or makes the slightest "unhappy" noise, my son emits a piercing scream and breaks into tears. I believe that he is genuinely afraid of my daughter, and not just doing this for attention. We have tried ignoring the behavior, and have recently tried to comfort him, but the situation has not improved over the course of weeks. In the past, my son has also reacted to the sounds of other young children in a similar manner, and so we don't think the cause stems solely from the sibling relationship. For whatever it's worth, the sounds made by older children do not seem to bother him, no matter how loud or shrill these may be. This screaming/crying pattern is putting great strain on our family, and so I am eager to find either suggestions for stopping my son's outbursts or recommendations about seeking professional help. Thank you.
