Going from one to two children was totally different. Is it really that different between two and three? We will be trying soon for the third, but just curious how different, if at all, it is between 2 and 3... Is it hard to divide the attention and make things fair? What things have you (those of you with three or more) come up with to solve that?

Do you feel that you are doing a good job of spending quality time with each individual child in addition to 'quality' time with both/all the kids? I work full time and I sometimes feel that I do not get enough quality time individually with my children--especially my 6 year old. My little one is 14 months so it will be a little while before he notices, but I really feel that I'm slighting my six year old...it's true we don't have as much time together as we used to before my son came along, but I feel like I'm REALLY short changing her. Am I the only one???

I was just wondering how crazy some folks get buying till they are tapped dry. I have done some reading on Yahoo Answers and see some folks spend upwards of $500 per child!

What did you get your kids this year?

I got my 12 year old: Digital camera accessories (to go with a 3 year old digital camera I upgraded from), Electronic hand held 20 questions and a The Fray CD.

I got my 8 year old: A barbie styling head, a birdhouse art kit, the 20 questions hand held game and Trouble (the board game).

I'm pretty proud that both will get what they want and I did NOT go broke. I spent only about $100 (not including the digital camera)

I'm looking for a fun holiday craft to do with my son for Christmas. Something he can give to relatives as a gift. He's three years old so I'm looking for something relatively simple. Also, I don't give him sugar, so I don't want to bake cookies or anything like that.

This past weekend, my husband and I left our 2 yr old with a sitter while we went out to the movies to see Saw 3. While at the movies, there was not one, but 2 toddlers there in the movie theater. Can you believe that someone would actually let their young child see this movie? I was so upset I felt sick to my stomach.

I think I am pregnant... but I'm not 100% sure because I haven't tested yet... I do feel nausiated and not that this is a sign of pregnancy...but I also seem to be loseing a lot of hair!?! I did have sex when I believe I was ovulating... and every other day between oct. 13 and the 30th ( I should have ovulated around the 23rd).My period is due today (or maybe tomorrow). My husband and I have had unprotected sex before and have not concieved. I was on birth control, and have been off of the pill for about a year. When should I test? And, from what I have said about being nausious and losing hair ( which may not be a sign... I don't know) and having unprotected sex for days while I should have been ovulating... what do you think?

My question comes with a bit of a story. First off, my younger sister (19) is pregnant, and our strong christian grand parents took that pretty hard. My father wanted her to get an abortion, but now in her seventh month, everyone's accepted it and are doing well with the idea. Her boyfriend is around her age and they've been together for awhile. I've just entered the second trimester (13th week) of my pregnancy, and am scared to death of breaking the news. My 2 sisters, the father, and a few friends know, but it's going to be rough on the family. The father and I haven't been seeing each other that long, he's quite a bit older than me (roughly 10 years) and has a reputation for being a bit of a lush. Now, I know everyone will be disappointed at first but will eventually come around, but does anyone have any ideas on how to break the news? I've started to show slightly, and it'll need to be soon! Thanks to anyone who was willing to read the story and help out!

In October 2001, Democrat Senator Walter Campbell issued the Scarlet Letter Law...A law that stated that all Florida women that were wanting to put their child up for adoption would have to publically state their names, age , race, sex, and all their sexual partners in the newpaper...the add would run once a week for four weeks straight...this was was only effective for 18 months..However, is trying to become reeenacted again...

This law would alos apply to all rape victims as well...
Do u believe that it would possibly increase the number of abortions performed?

Does it violate the privacy issue??

Whats next from the Govermant are they going to have everyone that is HIV positive publically state their names too with all their sexual partners...

This could be done in a better way without humiliating the woman d u agree?

We have decided to start a PTO at my daughter's school. It's a small school--less than 350 kids total. My husband started talking with other parents and called me saying...'guess who I nominated for president'! EEEEKKKK! I've never done this before...I'm starting on research, but I'd like 'real world' help, not text book help. Any advice given would be greatly appreciated!

My daughter is afraid of dogs and cats and gets hysterical when one comes around. Her reaction is so severe, that she shuts out everyone and curls into a ball and screams while covering her ears. This is hard because of friends and family having to "lock-up" their pets when we come over. Has anyone had success with getting a "sensory" child to overcome their fear of animals?

Read the Bible and women were giving birth to children through out their lives...

Years ago it was told the best ages to bare children were... oh what was it... between 20 something an 35.

I want children, but I'm 41 and still haven't meet mister right. I know plenty of women do have children over 40 but I wonder how it differs from having children when you are younger.

What are your experiences, your advise?

- someone please tell me it's not to late.

Ok here is the deal I am 39 weeks pregnant, and I was just looking for some stories on how delivery is... I am 21 and was told that having a child may be the only way to get rid of the cyst that I have on my ovary's. My boyfriend and I started trying ASAP, we are now married and I found out I was pregnant one month after the wedding (I was already pregnant when we got married) we were SOO excited. I am going to be induced on Friday (if I have dilated enough, cross your fingers for me) and I am so terrified to have this baby. I just think it is going to hurt so bad. I want some labor stories good or bad something to prepare me for what is getting ready to happen. THANK YOU GUYS SOO MUCH
