I took an ovulation test and believe it was positive. is it possible the next day for the test to show negativ

Sunday showed positive.
Monday showed negative reading.
Is this normal?

One only ovulates for a short period of time. You could be done ovulating on Monday. Which means the egg is traveling in the Fallopian tubes, which is where conception usually takes place.

Yes this is normal. Depending on the time of day you tested, you saw your surge on Sunday and then by Monday (given that you tested around the same time) your surge was over.

I hope (if you are TTC) that you had intercourse on Saturday & Sunday...

yes, you only ovulating one day
