I got a v-smile for my then 4 year old last christmas and it was the best thing I've seen since leap frog. My kids are too old for the baby v-smile but I know that the next one up was wonderful. I would recommend anything by leap frog for 16 months. They are fun and great learning tools for all ages. Being a mother of two girls, I would recommend any teething toy for the 3 month old.

i was thinking about getting one of those for my son for Christmas too. They are good for ages 9-36 months, so it is somrthing that your little girl can use when she is a little older too. For the 3 month-old and brightly colored toy will work.

You can buy for 3 Months girl: a small smooth doll not of plastic it should be cotton & for 16 Months boy you can buy: a small smooth ball of cotton.
