Me and my girlfriend had protected sex a week before her period on the 15. Her period was supposed to arrive on the 22, however it came on the 2nd of the next month.

Very slim, as she has had her period. Some women however menstruate during pregnancy.
You need to go to a doctor or Planned Parenthood and discuss how to prevent pregnancy because at this rate you are going to end up with a baby. Not to mention STDs
And remember no birth control is perfect, two kinds are better than one, and three are better than two. Pills are forgotten, condoms break, etc, etc.
You should also discuss what you would do if you do get pregnant. Just in case.

Even protected sex has its chances! Anytime you have sex you need to understand that you could be a parent!
