So my husband and I have been ttc for over 8 months and I finally got a positive test. . . My first test was 1 day after I should have gotten my period and the line slowly turned pink. I used a cheap brand and didn't use first morning... Well... We were excited, but I wanted to be sure. So I waited 3 more days (4 days after AF should have been here) and took another test... This time it was a first response and first morning---the double line showed up dark pink BEFORE I was finished peeing. My question is---is this normal? Never had a positive test and didn't realize it would show up so fast. Also would it be possible to be more pregnant than I think... (We didn't test last month because I had a 4 day period... Which I am never regular so I never know what to expect.) Or is it possible to be twins?? Anyone else have this happen to them?!

The home tests react differently depending on how much of the hormone is in your urine at the time. Go to your doctor for a blood test, specify a quantitative hCG test. The resulting level that they get will tell them whether you are carrying one or two.

It is because you have more pregnancy hormones, the more the faster and darker the line show up thats all!!
