Why on earth would you take advice from people you don't know when it concerns the the health of your unborn child?
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or get a second medical opinion.

Inadequate studies on the subject (meaning they don't really know for sure at this juncture on any other test subject than lab rats.) show that if it is taken too close to the delivery date... the baby will be born addicted to it and may have breathing issues.
Back pain is normal during pregnancy and something this strong should only be given as a solution to a life threatening or pregnancy threatening pain, or condition.
Vicoden is highly addictive... Your Doctor is an idiot!
and NO ADVIL OR CASTOR OIL! hell, you shouldn't be seeking advice on here period for obvious reasons...
Get a second opinion!

I had kidney stones with my son and the doctor gave me Hydrocodone. My son turned out fine. I took it only until the stone passed, though. I had a pinched nerve in my lower back with my daughter and my ob told me to use a heating pad and take two tylenol. It doens't work as well as the pain meds, but it did take the edge off and was much better for the baby.

NO ADVIL!!! Tylenol is the only proven safe over-the-counter for pregnant women! I have also heard of doctors safely prescribing hydrocodone (vicodin) to pregnant women for migraines and such.

WOW...that's a generic form of Vicodin...
I wouldn't take that even if I wasn't pregnant Id suffer in pain....but I woudl imagine if your doctor gave it to you knowing you were pregnant, I guess it should be safe...good luck.

particular it somewhat is high-quality. maximum prescription soreness killers are easily risk-free to take. i replaced into given percocet for my migraines while i replaced into pregnant. EDIT: My physician replaced into going to prescribe Tylenol 3 for my in the initiating yet then he study my chart and observed that i'm fairly allergic (It runs in my family individuals) to Codeine.

Your child should be okay. I took it also when I was pregnant but only when the pain was very bad. Do not take it every night if you don't need too. Try taking 3 advil. The baby will be okay
