Does anyone know the average weight that a baby gains (in utero) during the last month of pregnancy? I would like to know the average amount of weight they gain week by week for the last month.
Thanks!

The last month is the most crucial because they do gain between 1/2 lb to 1 lb a week. That is why they try to induce or C-section so close to the due date. 1 week can make a difference.

Hey there, I'll be 24 weeks on Sunday and so far I have gained about 9 pounds- I'm currently 142 lbs. This seems very average to me. As long as your baby's measurements and weight are in the healthy range, you're fine! I was surprised to find that my baby girl was a little underweight according to the doctor. I thought I was eating tons! She asked me to eat more- like fruits in between meals and stuff.

I had 4 children and was told every time that it is 1 pound a week. Happy mothering to you!
