Ok so I went off BCP about 2 months ago because my Fiance told me he cannot have kids, (although unverified with a doc) and now I have a feeling I may be pg. ( we never use condoms or anything else) I am supposed to get my period today, but so far no cramping at all, I did however have some *light* spotting yesterday (after sex) and then it stopped. I took 2 Pregnancy tests on Friday because my boobs were really sore (which never happens to me before period) and they showed *very *very *very faint 2 lines on both (2 lines means pregnant) but I assumed something was wrong with the tests or maybe since it was too close to my period they showed that way, anyways I figured if I did have some spotting I must not be pregnant but I just wanted to get some outside opinions.
Thanks!

Based on your details, I would say you yes. Breast tenderness in particular was my first indication that I was pregnant each and every time. If you had a very faint line show in the window that suggests you are pregnant, then you probably just have very little pregnancy hormones in your urine as you are in the early stages. If you were not pregnant, there would be absolutely no line visible at all. Take another test in about a week and you should have a clear answer.
Unless your fiance is a doctor, he is in no position to make such a diagnoses about his ability to impregnate. Why would he think such a thing? If he tried to have children in the past and failed, there are many possible reasons which may or may not have anything to do with him.
If you don't want children at this time, you need to use protection.

If the doc never told him he can't have kids, then he doesn't know that and he was telling you something he really didn't know. I had the same problem with the pregnancy test I took (while still on BCP...the desogen pill) so we bought another one...the expensive digital readout test...and it turned out positive three times in a row.
Spotting doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. When the fertilized egg implants in the side of the uterine wall, many women spot. Mine was more like a really light period, so it threw me off until the next month I skipped my cycle and found out that it hadn't been a period...but rather implantation. Spotting is also common in pregnancy because your cervix is softer and there is more bloodflow in the area...so friction from sex or a pelvic exam can make you bleed. I would take another test first thing in the morning so your urine is concentrated to make sure. Good luck. (And if you aren't pregnant, don't take the desogen BCP...i got pregnant on it, and a close friend got pregnant on it too)

NEVER and I repeat NEVER believe anyone who says "I can't have kids." Beyond the possibility of getting pregnant, there are STD's. I'm confused on why you stopped taking birth control and why you weren't/aren't using condoms.
Those pregnancy tests are pretty darn accurate. Meaning, if you saw two lines, no matter how faint....chances are GREAT that you are pregnant.
Pregnancy tests look for a special hormone in the urine or blood that is ONLY there when a woman is pregnant. This hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is also be called the pregnancy hormone.
The pregnancy hormone, hCG, is made in your body when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. This usually happens about 6 days after conception. The amount of hCG increases drastically with each passing day you are pregnant.
(This is also the hormone that causes morning sickness...yuck)
Better go to the doc and have a blood test taken.
It's very common to spot in the early stages of pregnancy. Sore breasts are also a sign of pregnancy.

Hiya. I reakon you are pregnant. I am 17 weeks pregnant and when i first tested a week before my period there was a very faint but definate line. I had it confrmed at doctors and it was positive. Spotting can be a symptom of pregnancy as it is the implantation bleed. Sore breasts (i had and never had before pregnancy). If you go doctors they will be able to tell you for sure. Best of luck to you xx

Sounds like you are, When I found out, I had some spotting a few days before AF was due, I actually though I would start, after a few days of just spotting I took HPT and was pg.
