How come so many women ask if they are pregnant?

Isn't it kind of weird that so many girls don't seem to have a clue about STDS, preganancy or birth control?

I agree with you. I have wondered who is not doing their jobs in educating young women ? Is it the parents or the school ?

A girl should know that if she has unprotected sex, she may become pregnant.Some one should tell teen aged girls it is NOT okay to have sex at such a young age. Give yourselves some time to grow up before giving birth.
It makes me sad to see so many of these questions

I think many of the girls ask if they are pregnant because when you miss your period or have wierd symptoms it is the first thing that comes to mind. They don't want to acknowledge that their actions may have lead to something more serious such as an STD. On the other hand, maybe they are educated on most of these topics, but you have to remember that sex ed class has not been updated with the times. They may be too embarrassed to attach a name with their question so they ask here with the annonimity that answers offers. If we can alert someone to a possible pregnancy or STD or other form of birth control why not. Let's all do our job and educate and be proactive for these girls.

Maybe when schools start teaching actual sex education they will be more educated about it all.

28 day cycles and 14 day ovulations just aren't the norm. I will teach my children abstinence and waiting until marriage but the fact is kids are having sex way to early. They need to know the facts about how things work.

Unfortunately, even if kids are given all the facts and all the consequences, they are still going to do it. That is the nature of children.

lol..its a crazy question but most women are just confused and want to hear yes they could be or no dont worry. Just to hear something that will make them feel better.

The funny thing is that people are on here all the time asking if they are pregnant, but there are people on here all the time asking "why do people ask if they are pregnant" as well. Its and endless cycle...lol. And you always get the same answers.

99% of those questions come from guys or teenage girls who aren't actually pregnant or suffering from stds, and probably don't need birth control because they can't get laid. They just think its hysterical to post these stupid things and see what people say.

I suspect they would rather have the "reassurance" of random strangers telling them not to worry about it than to get real confirmation from a test.

I agree with other posters, it's bizzare and silly. And yet so many people are against sex education! Amazing!

Well, what I don't like is that they tell us their life story and when they had sex and when their last period was and want us to tell them if they are pregnant...when they should just wait and take a test.

It's weird that no one seems to worry about STD's and AIDS. I mean if there is a chance you are pregnant then there is a def chance that you have contracted a disease! I dont know..I guess people worry more about babies then having a disease.

wow lady calm yourself. they are probally just scared. im sure even after your first time you thought there was a chance you were. Girls scare easy. I think that alot of them are too young for sex but they are not too young to ask questions. let them be this is yahoo answers after all.

Some of these girls are so stupid. They shouldn't even be allowed to have sex yet. Obviously.

If only they were my daughters....i'd knock em senseless.
