Well, my daughter has just discovered something new today--she is playing the harmonica! It is awfully strange to me, because I have often played in the past, but my harmonica has been stuck under the bed for a while now and she just came across it while crawling around today and put it right to her mouth like a pro and started playing it! She actually moves it across her mouth and can keep the noise going for a good 20 seconds or so. Along with playing, she will bop around like she's dancing. I'm in shock. Me being a first time parent wants to believe that she has some amazing talent, but is it normal for a toddler to be able to actually "play" a harmonica? I must also say that she was a month early when she was born and has been lagging behind on a few things along the way, this is the first thing that has made be believe "oh, she might be a bit advanced in certain things." What do you think?

No, she's not advanced. She's being a normal 16 month and doing what they all do best--make noise.

Our 16 month old does too. Odd cause it actually sounds like he knows what he's doing too.
