While breastfeeding, it is a natural weight reduction already. You will burn calories while your baby eats. Just stick to a high protein and low carb/sugar diet. With moderate exercise you will be surprised at how much weight you will lose. I'm nursing my 12 month old daughter and I've lost 82 lbs... Just nursing and eating healthy and believe you me, lost of chasing her around. I'm not sure how the medicine will have side effects in your milk, usually while nursing you will have to be careful of all medicines that you may take in fear of harming your baby. Breastfeeding your baby is the best thing that you can do for yourself and your baby. I would just breastfeed and follow a good diet....because you have to eat right to help ensure that you have good milk for your baby, for now and see how well that goes before taking any medication. I have never taken diet pills.... and never will. They are far too dangerous.... I was 219 before I got pregnant with my third child and when I delivered I was 232. Now I am so happy to be 150. After I finish nursing her, I will start a more strict diet and more intense workout routine and hopefully lose 25 more on my own.... Good luck and I hope I was helpful.....

Chitocal is a weighl loss product that works on preventing the absorption of fat and carbohydrates from the meal and thus decreases the amount of calories consumed in your diet. And when combined with proper meal planning and excercise it can help you lose weight.
Side effects are limited to the gastrointestinal tract like bloating, diarrhea, flatulence, etc.. and it many prevent the absorption of some vitamins from your meal.
However, it has not been shown to produce great results in terms of weight loss
I dont think you should be taking it whilst you are breastfeeding! Nursing is a natural weight loss programme, just cut down portion size a little and you will lose. Just dont push it too far otherwise you will lose your milk supply.

It has not been shown to produce great results in terms of weight loss. Anything you put into your body goes out of your body. You must ask your doctor about this!

What you eat your baby eats. Don't do it. The effects could indeed harm your child. Nothing is worth that risk.

ANYTIME you are talking about the health of a child or even a person; questions should be asked of a professional in that area of care. in this case, your pediatrician.
