I still have 7 more days till my period is due, but I think I might be having sighs like, 1. I feel sick and then it goes away and 2. I had a yeast infection but I took a pregnacy test and it was negative on Monday, I was on the depo shot and then decided to stop taking it in March do you think that it is out of system yet??? HELP!

Most people I know selected the boy for inheritance reason like carrying foward the surname especially in Asian countries. But, I would love to have a daughter - girls are so much more well-behaved than boys. What's your opinion based on your choice?

My son is very close to me and so is my daughter, he just turned 2 and she is 7 months. When my son sees a family member and he doesn't want to say hi or be polite they get discourage and start being rude to him. saying he is a momma's boy and such a baby. I hate it when they say this, but how do I get my son to be more interactive with other people he doesn't see as much. I am a stay at home mom, and we see his mimi and papa once a week. I won't pay a babysitter to let him interact, because I already tried that and I don't trust people a lot. I go to play places at the amll, but should I do it more often i do it about once a week. My son and daughter are always with me and I don't want it any other way. He sometimes is different. He wants nana and hugs nana , but then another day goes by and I go there and he screams and doesn't want to go inside. what do I do?

It's perfectly natural and wonderful. Also, it has many physical and psychological benefits for both mother and child. It's no different than a mother cat nursing her kittens. The only difference is that we don't have fur covering our breasts.

I was wondering what other parents use to spank their children with?

For me, I use a "rod", which right now is a 15in PVC pipe that has about a 1/2inch diameter. I want to use this, because my children can't ever relate anything other than disciple to the rod. If I used a belt, that could be negatively related to my husband, since he wears one. I don't use my hands, those are for loving, not for spanking. I don't use wooden spoons or other kitchen items, since someday I want to teach them to cook!

Any other parents have ideas along these lines?

My son has been acting rebellious for the last few days. Mostly he gets into something that makes alot of mess and just spills all over. A few days ago it was salt, then it was coffoe grounds, and today he spilled paint on the carpeting.

My son is four, but he has just recently been diagnosed (?) as being legally deaf and he hasn't devoloped to his age. We were recently told that he may have a condition where he may have the mental capability of a child or even a baby all his life.

I'd like to know if maybe this is just something he can't control or .. i just would like to know what you all think!

i was wondering if it would be ok to drink alcohol while breast feeding. i am 37 weeks so i'm close to having my baby and i will be having my wedding shortly after where there will be some champagne. i am not an alcoholic or have never even touched alcohol. also is tanning in a tanning bed ok while breast feeding. i have become ghostly white during my pregnancy and i can't take it anymore, so when my baby comes i would like to start tanning, that way i can look decent for my wedding.

how many times was it correct for you?
I am 14 weeks.. besides the gender prediction i have nothing else that helps me guess the sex of the baby. most ask how I am carrying..but i am not at that stage where i show yet..

She went to heard start and has always loved school, but she keeps telling me that she hates her teacher, and hates the kids in her class, and i even told her that if she switches schools then she will have no friends, and she is ok with that. What should I do? I have been talking to the principal, and I have a meeting today at 3:30 with them again, but I am getting nowhere. Should I make her stick it out? should I change her class? should i change schools? what would you suggest? she is only five, and I dont want this to become an ongoing problem.

My husband and I are trying to have our first baby. I just had my period a little over a week ago. We have been having sex religiously since. The past 2 days I have not felt like "myself". I've been neasus, and very hungry at the same time. I don't want to jump the gun and assume I am pregnant. My question is, do I really have to wait until my next period to find out? I mentor a younger teen boy. I usually see him oonce a week and we do a variety of activities. His mom and him recently decided to go out of town (it wasn't a needed trip) this weekend on a night that I was going to take him to a hockey game. He and his Mom knew about this weeks in advance and I had bought the tickets (I'm now out $50) and didn't get much of an apology from his mother. "Jonny" my mentee was suppossed to call me on Sunday, but never did (his mom made excuses for him). I feel pretty "dissed" by them right now expecially since I've been with them for 1 1/2 years. I'm thinkinig of waiting to see how long it will take them to call me after this weekend. I feel that they should take some initiative and call me about our next visit. My question is should I wait for them to call or should I make contact with them first? I just feel that the "ball" is in their court.

I live in Northern Florida and I go to school here and my husband works up here as well. His co-workers are asking when the baby shower will be, but I hardly know any of them. If they really want to buy me stuff, fine. But I also have my friends and family in South Florida and they want me to throw a baby shower, too. How can I work this out? I can't ask people to drive 500 miles in either direction just for a baby shower.

The baby is due in March, so I thought about having the N. Florida baby shower in January and the S. Florida baby shower in February. Is that too soon for a baby shower? Too late? How long before the baby is due should I throw a baby shower?

Is it worse to have a baby shower before or after Christmas?
