My baby is 7 weeks old and he has been averaging 4 to 5 hrs of sleep since his birth and stays awake no longer than 2 hrs during the day. Every baby is different and yours may be more active than others at this age, and it is perfectly normal.

i does not challenge about it. My daughter, who's now a healthful ten-month-old, not in any respect slept more effective than 20 minutes at a time in the course of the day, from the time she became about a month old. She did quite a lot sleep by the evening, waking each and every 4 to 5 hours for feeding. I not in any respect quite apprehensive except she refused to devour, or became very torpid, crying uncontrollably, or operating a fever. in case your toddler is appearing typical, there should not be reason to pressure. yet when you're nonetheless worried, call your pediatrician. they could furnish you with more effective information. you may want to wish to envision out a e book or 2 out of your close by library My spouse and that i stumbled on one referred to as "what to anticipate your toddler's first year" or something like that, to be particularly efficient.

It really depends but at this age all they do is sleep. You better enjoy this time while it last! Once they hit a few months old, you'll be complaining about the baby not wanting to sleep. Don't worry, relax and enjoy the time your baby sleeps. Sleep is good for your baby. So enjoy...Just be sure to maintain a schedule, it will be convenient for both you and the baby. Especially getting your baby to sleep through the night.

They will sleep as much as they want to. Keep the feeding regular and let them dose when they want. If the baby is up...have fun and play.
Sleep cycle will adjust itself soon enough. Keep feeding regular.
Good idea to sleep when the baby sleeps too. it helps you with stress and ability to handle the little one when it cranky.
