You're period may not have been regular. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I hadn't had a period in about 2 mos. and so, they had me 6 weeks ahead of what I really was...funny thing was, my husband and I hadn't been together, I was in training during the time I "supposedly" got pregnant. They did an ultrasound and adjusted the due date to a time that made perfect sense.
they will keep an eye on the baby and at certain points, determine that the growth is on track. Don't worry.
Good luck and congrats!

According to my last menstrural period I should be like 36 weeks pregnant but the ultrasounds are showing 34 weeks. I've been told that the ultrasounds can be off by a few weeks. I was also told that its a possibility that when they tell you the weight of the baby it can be off by a pound or 2

My menstrual cycle's highly irregular so when my doctor went by my cycle, she thought I was 8 weeks pregnant. But when the sonographer did my ultrasound, I was actually 7 weeks. So, don't worry, it's possible and it happens.

You are normal. The baby might be smaller than most. No big deal. Just eat right, take care of yourself, and relax. My first child according to the sonogram was due September 24 and he ended up being delivered on October 19. Good luck and do not worry!

Smae happened to me. Thought I was 7 weeks but only 4 because I have longer than 28 day cycles so ovulation didn't happen 2 weeks after my period like it does with shorter cycles. that could be the case for you. What did your doc say?

Yes, there is no reason to stress about pregnancy not being normal..Also remember that conception only happens 2weeks after menstruation - depending on when you ovulate. Enjoy the pregnancy

its ok you are still very early the doctors can recheck later on. sometimes they guess wrong. it is easier to figure it out a little later on. also you could only be 5 weeks even though you though you were 9. just relax stressing about things like this is not good. relax and congradulations

Depends. Maybe you calculated wrong; or your baby could be growing slower than expected. You should tell your doctor your concern so that he can run more tests and make sure everything is okay. Good luck, and God bless!
