We have twins that will be two in a few weeks, my mother keeps telling me they need to move out of our room and in to big beds of their own. They have both just started climbing out of the cribs. When is a good time to move them?

hi. just would like opinions on the baby names we have. IF its a girl, we wanted to go with Jasmine Marie OR something unique like Forever. And if its a boy... Noah Bartholomew. <-- he wanted that to be the first name, and we just fought over it, so we both got the names we wanted and used them as a first and middle name.

I am 5'9 and have so much trouble finding pants that are long enough. I cant buy them from wal mart, or target, etc..because they are always too short on me and look ridiculous. Does anyone else have this problem and what are some of the best places that are not too expensive (20 to 30 dollars at the most) to find maternity jeans for tall women. Thanks for the help

I know after DC pg tests can show positive for up to 8 wks so how will I know if I'm pg or not? And I know some will say it's too soon to conceive but the reality is we did it and can't change it. Also I have not found any data to suggest that it is too soon. I believe your body will know if it's too soon. Also, was at Dr last week and said everything looks great and to try again!!!

along well (last few months or so) Anyways, I have lived with him in his house for the last 3 years and in the 3 years we have produced a child, I have been a stay at home mom since birth. He works out of town and I have been the primary caregiver to our child. In the 3 years I have not worked or got a job, mostly becuase he is controlling and anytime I tried to get a job he would start a fight and do everything he could to make me turn it down, so I just stayed home with our child. There have been 3 physical assaults on me in the 3 years, I never left becuase I was scared of losing my kid. So, recently I have decided I may leave, the thing is he says I will not get custody of our child or I will not leave this house with anything but the clothes on my back, he makes well over a hundred grand a year and says if I did get the kid he would nly pay 300 in child support montly. I told him the courts would decide, he told me to *** off basically...Anyone know my rights as common law?

((Our last name is Svensson, so I would not want the first name to have any "s" to prevent it from sounding like a hiss as it already does. I suppose that for now I am looking for names that sound attractive and flow, and I will research their meanings some time later. Also, please suggest possible middle names that would go with the first name. Thank you all in advance for taking the time to answer.))

Discussing family history. I metioned that only 1 miscargiarge in family was my auntie, who at 3 months lifted a heavy gate to let the cows out. She felt a tearing and lost the baby that night. my doc says that wouldn't cause a miscarriage, and that there was something else going on too...

My son is 5 months old and ever since he was born my mom thinks her nose belongs in my familys business. Yes I want her involved and she is but sometimes her opinions just drive me nuts. She always thinks her methods are right even if I go by text book methods! My fiancee is trying for a different job which could only be a 4 day a week thing. So I suggested that he would keep our son on Fridays when he is off. She looked at me and said "guys aren't as good at babysitting". Babysitting?? It's his son. I dont see it as babysitting. I dont want to be rude to my mom because I value a lot of what she says but sometimes her opinions just don't always need to be voiced! Just wondered if anyone else goes through this too.

I read someone's answer on here that said "babies who walk early and babies that don't crawl have learning disabilities. It's a proven fact.". I think this statement is a bunch of garbage but has anyone else heard this as well?

I'm 17, and expecting my first child sometime soon. ( I'm 37 weeks and five days. ) Of course, I'm still attending school regularly, so I can keep my grades up to A's and B's..but I don't know how on earth to get rid of all the discomfort..I know it's normal..but it seems like when I'm finished with all of my work, I start getting jittery and can't get comfortable at all. Any advice on how I can make things go a little smoother for the next couple of weeks? I'd especially appreciate it..Thank you.

who'd been made pregnant by her rapist or molester to go through 9 months of pregnancy (I'm pregnant at the moment and its hell with severe sickness and exhaustion) and 48 hours of agonising labour to give birth to her rapists baby and then hand it over to strangers like an unwanted Christmas gift?

Are you serious? I'm sorry but in that situation the raped child's feelings and welfare would come FIRST for me! What makes one child more important that the other?

The funny thing is a lot of you are men who know nothing about how hard it is to carry or deliver a baby!

I have a 23 month old baby girl. she has a normal diet and is active too but she is underweight that is she is only 9.6 Kg and her height is 81 cm this is being going on for last 4 months. Doctors says to give her good diet but she is already on a good diet. Besides this she thumb sucks a lot? Whats the reason of her so low weight. Is the reason that most of the times she has to play alone because of no other kids in the house.
I give her egg daily in breakfast and Pedia sure too. Please give a good reply.

I have a 5 yr old daughter and have been trying to conceive again for over a year. I was diagnosed with fibroid tumors after my C-Section 5 yrs ago. I bleed after interscourse and in between my periods. I have been to several Doc's and can't get any good reasons why I'm not PG. At this point I feel really discouraged, I'm approaching 30 and would love nothing more than to complete my family with one more child! Any advice would be great! Thanks for reading.

My wife is a stay-at-home-mom during the day. She works occasional nights and weekends. I work M-F 9-5. My 3-1/2 year old son prefers my company when I am home over my wifes. That in itself isn't really a problem. The problem is how he shows it. He is mean to her by saying things to her like "you can't play with us" or "you can't have any of this," "only dad can". He also doesn't want to participate in things that my wife wants to do with him. For trick-or-treating last night, he didn't want to go (with mom), just because I had to stay home and give out candy. He wanted to go with me. This has been going on for 6 or more months. A) Is this normal? B) What can/should we do to correct this behavior? Should we force him to do things with his mom he doesn't want to do? etc. Thanks!
