It might help to put either a shirt (like a t-shirt) you might have worn during the day or your pillw case. Its your scent that gives the sense of security. As far as how often she should be eating I'd say about every 6 hrs unless your introducing baby food it might sustain her hunger a little bit longer.

during the day when she naps put her in her crib. Then after about a week start putting her in her crib at night. Let her fuss up the 5 - 10 minutes. I hated hearing my daughter fuss but after ten minutes I would go check her diaper see if she need to nurse then put her down again. It work for me. Usually after ten minutes she is asleep. Try putting on soft music. After a while the child will associate this music means time to sleep. Your daughter should be fed about every 4 hrs but if she is hungry more often feed her more often. Best of luck

Let her fall asleep in your bed then when you know she's really asleep. Do the old switch a roo. IF she awakes pat her or rub her but don't pick her up. A three month old should be eating every 4 hours or so. Good luck

It will be a difficult process... I had to do the same thing for my daughter from her bassinet to the crib...Make sure they get used to the crib everyday, even for their naps...they will cry because they are unfamiliar with it and it does upset them...try to understand what they are going through...when putting them to bed at night put them in their crib right away...make sure they have a routine every night in their bedroom before sleep time...Like reading(even for a three month old), music, singing, and rocking them to sleep too, make sure it is the same routine every night though so they can recongnize it, be consistent...babies thrive on routines, it is one of thier ways of learning...babies are constantely learning and abosorbing everything around them, the brains are like sponges at this age...parents are teachers is my belief....try it out...it will take some time, it won't happen over night...they will cry at first...do leave the room, but every few minutes come back and say 'mommy is still here....', don't stay too long...and do this till they fall asleep. It is to let them know you are still there and the learn this by you doing this action...at this age never let them cry for more then 15 minutes though, make sure they are fed and changed and they don't have gas. so all is well with them for bed time, giving them a bath to before bed time helps them sleep...
R U talking eating like food food or nursing? Food shouldn't be given to them till 6 months of age, never put pablum in the bottle because they can choke to dealth...
If you are nursing....congradutalions...tthats the best thing for them...Nursing is between 8 to 12 times a day...from 12am to 12 am. 24 hours. You can record it on paper how many times they are fed and how long and how many times they will pee and poop in 24 hours to know if they are getting enough milik. they should be fed for at least 30 mins to one hour, if they fall asleep wake them up with a cold cloth or by massaging them or putting a little pressure behind their ear with your thumb, it may sound cruel, but if you dont do this you will be feeding them for every hour instead of every 2 to three hours...I had my public health nurse show me this when I came home and i went to a nursing clinic to make sure I got this nursing thing down pat...my daughter would always fall asleep when nursing so i make sure i wake her up and she can have a full feeding...i would go a half an hour each breast...the second breast is either dessert or second helping...
If they are formula fed, it is 6 to 10 times a day and this is because the formula is thicker then breastmilk and it causes constipation. breastmilk is very thin...it goes through thier system faster and so you feed them more....Never feed a 3 month old solid food, their stomachs are not ready for that yet and their systems are not ready for that yet...plus they can barely sit up....and they are not interested in food till 5 to 6 months anyway.
Good LUCK!
