hi. just would like opinions on the baby names we have. IF its a girl, we wanted to go with Jasmine Marie OR something unique like Forever. And if its a boy... Noah Bartholomew. <-- he wanted that to be the first name, and we just fought over it, so we both got the names we wanted and used them as a first and middle name.

I like Bartholomew...for a middle name. Not much of a first name. I could hear the names now "Barf" or "Bart"...not pretty. I like Noah though...a friend of mine wanted to name her son Noah...until she realized that it didnt sound right with her last name. Noah Hare.

I am not too fond of the girl name. For some reason I never liked the name Jasmine. I guess if she has black hair, it would fit, lol. No offense though. and Marie is very common, just a knockoff of Maria which is also very common.

Forever is a good start. Better than Jasmine, I think. Then her middle name could be Diamonds :o)

I love the name Jasmine. Yes, Marie is a common middle name, but only because it fits so well with almost anything. It's also nice to have more of a plain middle name with a first name like Jasmine. So I like it! I don't care for Bartholomew, but as long as you got your choice to be the first name, I would probaby go along with it. It is a very important-sounding name!

I like both names, and I agree with the person who also suggested Essence for a girl instead of Forever. Forever is unique, but doesn't really sound like a name for a person.

Jasmine is a beautiful name. I like the way Noah Bartholomew sounds. Marie is a nice name as well and it pairs nicely with Jasmine. As I tried to remember when I was trying to come up with names for my child, unique is nice but they have to live with that name. Congradulations and Good Luck!

If I were you I wouldn't go with a name like Forever. Jasmine Marie might be a better choice. Think of how your chilid might feel growing up with a name that's too unique. As for Noah Bartholomew, you might want to rethink that.

Just a tip from a mother of 5, do not name your baby before it is born because sometimes they do not "look" like that name. Wait a few days and spend time with the baby and that way you can be sure that the name is fitting and absolutely perfect for your new bundle of joy. Jasmine is very pretty and i really do not like Forever, it sounds so cliche. As for the name Noah, I feel that is perfect as that is my sons name. If you want to go with something unique investigate both of your family histories and try to combine names to create a truly unique and special name.

Love Noah Bartholomew--- Jasmine Marie is ok. If you are looking for something unique (Forever) have you thought about Genesis? My neice named her daughter that and she can go by Genny for short. Only really applies if this is your first though obviously.

Forever--yes, she will be ridiculed forever if you name her that.

Jasmine is alright, just not my favorite. Marie is so common as a middle name. Everyone's middle name is Marie it seems like!

Noah Bartholomew is a great name, hands down!
