I know after DC pg tests can show positive for up to 8 wks so how will I know if I'm pg or not? And I know some will say it's too soon to conceive but the reality is we did it and can't change it. Also I have not found any data to suggest that it is too soon. I believe your body will know if it's too soon. Also, was at Dr last week and said everything looks great and to try again!!!

It will likely take a blood test for HCG levels. You will have blood drawn every other day for about a week or so. If the levels are dropping, then you're not pregnant. If they're approximately doubling every draw, then you're pregnant.

Two weeks after a DnC/m-c is a bit soon to try - doesn't mean it's always unsuccessful, but bodies need time to heal. There is some evidence that conceiving too soon after a Dnc/m-c can lessen the chances of a successful pregnancy, but then I know women who have conceived just like you may have.

Call and ask your doctor for HcG level checks. And I hope you and your DH are soon the parents of a bouncing, giggling baby ;)

I had one on april 28 of 2002. and got pregnant again two weeks later. My next pregnancy test came up positive on June 4 2002. So, you can get prenant again very quickly.
