Since they have started to climb out of their cribs now is the time to transition them to big beds of their own. If you don't go ahead and do it they may end up falling and getting hurt while climbing out of their cribs.

I moved my daughter to a toddler bed when she was 2, however she always had her own room, so moving her out of my room away from me was not an issue. However, she was a wild sleeper and would bang her head on the rails at night or the wall. That would wake her up and she would stand up and walk right off the end of the bed!!. We ended up getting her a full size bed so she had plenty of room to roll around in at night. She has been there ever since

If they are climbing out of the cribs I would put them in beds real soon. Now. They also should be out of your room and into a room of their own.

My son was climbing out of his crib when he was just 13 months old, after a couple months of trying to corral him I just moved him to a toddler bed. He was 15 months old and did fabulously. I just read him two stories, kissed him goodnight and told him he needed to stay in his big boy bed until morning.

Definately when they start climbing out of a crib.. When they start climbing out it becomes a safety issue.. Our 22 month old still sleeps in a crib and hasnt climbed out yet.

They probably should have been moved a long time ago. 2 year olds can sleep in their own room.......though I would recommend everything be locked up so they can't get into it as well as a baby gate to their room. Toddler beds are this great new invention you should try! Also once children start rolling over on their own they should be safe in their own room. Good luck.....Move those babies!

well just about when they start to get out of their cribs is the best time to move them...lol..lol.. my son did the same thing! so i suggest that u get them toddler beds- that way u can still use the crib mattresses and not spend more than $100.00 for the beds. depending on what beds u buy for them of course. good luck.

yes i think for there safety that they should move into big beds. who knows they could crawl out of there crib and fall and hurt themseleves. Plus 2 years old is the right time. Good Luck
