My daughter is 9 months. We're having spaghetti for dinner and I'd like to give her some. Educated answers please, no opinions.

My friend Angie had her kids taken away. And for good reason. She was a crack head and sold dope and neglected her kids. Her aunt called the Children's Aid and the CAS took the kids away for 6 months. She cleaned up her act and got them back a few months ago but now she's back to her old tricks and neglecting the kids AGAIN!! I have NO FAITH in the child protection system. They gave her kids back when she had not gone for any counselling or anything. She just had to pass the drug tests and she even figured out a way to scam the drug testers! The "random" drug tests were always done on a Monday so she would just wait until after the test and do it and by the next time she tested she'd appear "clean". She did slow down on it for awhile but now I fear she is getting as bad as she was just before she lost the kids. I have no faith in the system. It's useless. It does not protect kids. Why are these PIGS allowed to freely breed and then not care for their kids? She also depends on welfare.

He likes to tell me no when I ask him to do something and hits people. I don't know exactly how to disipline him correctly besides to yell and obviously it's not getting anywhere. My husband is away right now in the military and he had no problem listening to daddy. Now that I'm living at my grandparents house while he's away, he just seems to get worse and worse and he also has a problem with squeeling that just bothers the crap out of me. I am due anytime now with our second boy. How can I get things straightened out around here without feeling so exhausted by the end of the day?

Okay I've been with my bf for like a year now... he's so scared that hes going to lose me... but hes not so every now and then I get these dreams that I'm going to cheat on him but in the end i dont end up doing it.... Ok here is the deal,
I took a PG test this morning it wasa faint positive...

I took a PG test this afternoon when i got up and it was Positive not faded as much as the first one..

Do you think this is a pretty sure sign that im pregnant??? I have had no implantation bleeding either, just cramping...

I know that if you have intercourse the night before or day of ovulation you are probably going to have a boy given the Shettles method, but what if you had intercourse three and four days also before your ovulation day. Do you think that there is a slightly higher chance of having a girl even though we had intercourse the night before ovulation also. I guess the girls are heartier than the boys and they were probably waiting around for the egg, but maybe the boys from last night got to the egg first also???

My little sister who is 17 years old and still looks like she is 12 is 6 weeks pregnant. She is in the 11th grade and was so into school until this boy came along. He is 19 and he is a drug addict. Everyone knows he does pills. She is a good girl and the worst she has done is smoke pot (she dosent now) but as her older sister and our mother both feel like she is not ready to be a mom and all of that that comes with it.
I had my baby at age 21 and it was hard. I couldn't even imagine at age 17. Our mom got pregnant at 16 but done a good.very good job with all of us. (She had seven kids)

If you knew my sister and how she still looks like a kid you would say it is a shame she is pregnant. She is in shock about it. I feel in my heart that my sister is wishing this wasn't happening to her. I know she should have been careful but i feel like that guy talked her into to and got her like that on purpose.

I was sitting at the computer doing a paper and it felt like I was getting my period, i went into the bathroom and there was like a half dollar size wet spot on my underwear (no blood) but when I wiped there was a clump of mucus that looked like wet tolet paper, what is going on? It has never happend befor, although I have had a lot of mucusy wet discharge latley! any thoughts? im 8 months preggy.

i have one child already so i know what to ecpect from a pregnacy, but i havent had my period in 5mths and i have really sharp pains in my back and lower abdoman and i havent had no weight gain and the in the last week 1/2 my stomach has swelled up and i cant eat as much as i used too. the pain gets worse especially after i pee the doc said that a pee test came back positve that i was preg but he said that i will be due in january of 07, if i was 6monts allready than i would fell a baby move and i dont and i would be alot bigger but i still weigh 130 what i have weighed more months please help me.

My son is very big for his age. Where most 4 year olds are about 35-40 pounds and about 4.5 feet tall, my son is almost 90 pounds and 5.5 feet tall.. he's 4.. with a 4 year old mentality. Since I realized that he was bigger than other kids (around 2) I have been trying to be extra vigilant when it comes to him hitting other kids. He's very strong, and he's much bigger, and I've been putting emphasis on " You're much bigger than other boys and girls your age, and you have to be careful not to hit people, because you might hurt them " ... sort of along the lines of " With great power comes great responsibility thing. Well, my son gets picked on alot,and he takes it very well because that's what I've been teaching him. My husband ( who is also very tall ) doesn't like what I've been teaching our son. He was taught the same thing as a child, and he resented never being able to defend himself as a child because he was bigger.

My boyfriend (of 3 years) and I have a beautiful 8mo. old baby girl. His 13yr old daughter from a previous relationship, whom he absolutely adores, has chosen to stop speaking to him. She even told him she never wants to speak to him again. Please understand she used to visit us often, and she and I got along pretty well. They stopped speaking, but he has since been writing her letters. Is this common amongst kids these days? It's heartbreaking watching him go through this. What can I do?

I have a just turned one year old and he listens very well to me when I tell him he can't touch something or have/play with an object. The problem I have is he will stop touching/trying to play with whatever, but he makes this awful growling noise and throws whatever he has close by on the floor or hits the floor with his hands to show he's upset. This is very irritating to me and I'm wondering if this behavior is something I should ignore or let him be in trouble again for one, getting into something he shouldn't and then throwing a little fit about it. I'm a stay at home mom and I have all the time in the world to devote to him. I've tried holding his arms and saying in afirm voice that what he did is not "not nice". This seems to make him cry a lot, and I end up trying to console him and I think that he looses site of what the whole problem was. Anyway, whatever I try, he just keeps on throwing theses little fits...any ideas on better options?

We are saving for a house & will probably get it at the end of next year. We have $50,000 saved up. We both have finished college & have good careers-we both make $20-25/hr. I know he wants to get everything financially in place but I'm so tired of waiting! He is 31 & I am almost 27. We've been married almost 2 years but been together a total of 8 years. I just feel like we have everything together except a house but hopefully we will get one next year. How can I talk him into trying to conceive several months before we buy? He said we might start in March but he changes his mind a lot. He even told his mom that & now she is excited. I just hope he doesn't give our hopes up! Any advice would help...
Also I want to add that I work at home 5 days/wk so that would help as far as not having to pay someone to watch the baby.
