If baby were ready you'd be in labor.....be patient little mama. Take a long walk - sometimes that helps - relax. If for some reason the doctor feels you need help to start labor they can give you a shot. You have the next 18 - 20 years to have that baby to care for - enjoy this.

Walking can help.. having sex can help.....
But the baby will arrive when it's good and ready no matter what she does.. Up until 42 weeks (when the baby would be getting too large) the best place for the baby is in the womb.. If the Dr. is concerned about the size of the baby they will induce labor until then your daughter can walk a marathon and have sex for hours and if the baby isn't ready to come it will stay right where it is...

Pineapple involves an enzyme known as bromlene that a few folks think is helping to melt to cervix. However, different stories exhibit it honestly has the reverse outcome. Bromlene is observed most often within the stem of the pineapple. As a outcome you might have got to consume round 7 recent pineapples to get a tight quantity of it. The enzyme may be destroyed through the juicing and canning procedures. You should buy bromelene in pill types from wellbeing meals retail outlets as it's regularly used to support digestion. I would not preserve out a lot wish of it kicking off labour nonetheless!

Spicy food. Nipple stimulation (releases oxytocin). When I was overdue with my daughter, I had a spiritual Mayan ceremony performed by a dear friend of mine. I don't remember what it was called. But there was some sort of special incense involved along with beautiful chanting. Supposedly, it was to separate my spirit from the baby's. She said we were too intertwined for the release of birth. It sounds pretty far out, I know. But believe it or not, I went in to labor 30 minutes later. Good luck!

there is a induction method the hospital can use that is more gentle than ptosin. It's called cervadil and they insert it into the cervix and remove it when it starts labor. I was 3 weeks over due and didn't want ptosin. I got the cervadil and it started labor in about twoo hours and my body took it from there. It was not painful like ptosin can be.

Do alot of walking and the hills will definitely get things going, alot of people say that if you do tha' BOOTY rough, that will do the trick. Those are the most healthy things to try. Other people say jumping off of things(which I would not suggest) and taking a mild laxative. My mother told me that her grandmother told her to do the jumping and laxative trick but, nothing happened but, I would be afraid. I would walk, maybe even jog some hills and then go home take a warm bath and have some rough sex! Good Luck!

apparently sex will do it! There are prostaglandins in semen, which help to ripen the cervix and start it dilating.
I hope this works because that's what I'm trying right now......
