I was sitting at the computer doing a paper and it felt like I was getting my period, i went into the bathroom and there was like a half dollar size wet spot on my underwear (no blood) but when I wiped there was a clump of mucus that looked like wet tolet paper, what is going on? It has never happend befor, although I have had a lot of mucusy wet discharge latley! any thoughts? im 8 months preggy.

Honey you maybe in the process of lossing your mucos plug. It is normal it is a good sign. Lossing your plug though may weird looking. It is almost like a blood tinged color. It just protects the baby some people pass it without even knowing it though.
YEAH baby is getting ready for labor.

It's your mucus membrane or plug. No worries, it happens as yucky as it is. It just means you are getting that much closer to delivering. I called my doctor anyway and they told me just what I am telling you...no rush to the hospital needed. Good luck! You are almost there. (My plug fell out about a month before I actually gave birth.)

I've had large amounts of mucus-ish discharge since the beginning of my pregnancy...doc says that is normal. I just wonder though if perhaps you've lost your mucus plug?
Call and ask your doc, he'll be able to advise you best.

Sounds like your mucous plug. You may go into labour in the next week or so! If you are more than 37 weeks, then this is no problem, but if you're less than 37 weeks you may want to go to your doctor to get checked out.

It could just be a normal discharge, but to be safe visit a doctor, or search the web on this topic.

sounds like you may have lost your mucus plug. you should call your ob to make sure.

call your dr. your mucus plug may have just came out and in that case you may go into labor!!! Call your DR immediatly! Sometimes they can stop you from going into preterm labor if you catch it early enough!
