A "really saggy stomach" can be toned by losing weight all over through diet and exercise. Pilates and yoga definitely tone the entire core area (abdomen and lower back).

There is also biology to contend with. It may never be totally flat. Learn to love and accept your body as it is.

Surgery should be a last-ditch option and is truly unneccessary. You'd have to ask an ob/gyn if a tummy tuck would affect a future pregnancy.

Yes to both!

Exercises will tone up the stomach and as a new mum you will soon get more than you like. One of the best I found after birth was holding my stomach in while doing things like washing-up or walking pushing the babies in a pram. Sit-ups are GOOD too!
I started as soon as my Caesarian scar (going downwards) healed!

A tummy tuck like a Caesarian scar will be stretched if you become pregnant again and will be even worse afterwards(.At least with the ceasarian they cut out the old scar tissue) If you need one wait till you are certain that you aren't going to have more children.

my daughter is 6 months old and i had to have an emergancy c section so i could not start my excercises as quick as i would have liked and then i got lazy and about a month ago my health visitor came round and told me to do 5 sits up and then 5 touching left knee with right hand and then 5 touching right knee with left hand on day one and then add one to each set for every day that passed.ie
day one 5,5,5
day two 6,6,6
day three 7,7,7 and so on. But me being me went overboard and added 5 to each set each day.
Well anyway i kept it up and walked every where pushing the pram and sucking in my belly as i walked and the health visitor came today and said omg you look sooooooo good, how much better do you look, and after thinking about it a month ago i was wearing a size 14 which was tight but now im in a 12 which are a little loose. admittedly there is still a little work to be done but you can do it without surgery.
GOOD LUCK HUN

if it is fat, exercise will make it go away...but if it's skin thats saggy and loose, then surgery might be the only option. I have to same problem...I can feel the muscles underneath the layer of sagging skin, very irritating.

Do your post natal exercises and pleanty of pushing the pram at a brisk walking pace and your tummy will soon tone up... better still breast feed that works even better.

I'm sorry, this seriously looks like a mans stomach. Maybe it's because it's black and white? I don't know, just can't see it very well.
