Pregnancy & Parenting - 23 October 2006

My son is two and a half and I would like to give him a chance to make friends or at least have more social interactions with kids his age. He always loves playing with other kids at the park and such but other than that he has no other kids to play with. I don't know if I should join a mommy and me class, start him in preschool or what. Does anyone know of a good place to get information on Preschools or other activities? I am Looking for somewhere in the Morgantown, WV area.

I would like to receive ideas for highly requested, really popular gifts for those stated above. My husband and I have a family in mind this Christmas where the husband has lost his job and the couple is now maintaining a small business trying to keep the family going. We want to get the children a really "wanted" gift this year and anonymously drop it off at their door in the wee hours of Christmas. I have an 18 year old and a 2 year old, so I have no clue (my nieces and nephews aren't even around these ages) what 9 and 12 year old girls want for Christmas, nor what a 13 year old boy would want.

Suggestions would be so much appreciated. Thank you!

I have had some pretty bad lower back pain for two days and some lower abdominal cramping for the past few hours. I have ha no bleeding but the back pain is getting really bad. I'm only about 6 weeks pregnant. I'm worried but don't want to be a hypocondriac. Is this normal? I mean this back pain is ridiculous! If this is normal to feel like this how long does it last?

i'm 7 weeks pregnant and i haven't told my parents. i'm so afraid to tell them because they would never expect this from me. My bf and i have been together for 4 years and they love him but i come from a family where you go to school, get a degree, get married, and then have kids. and they're religious too (but not overly religious).
i'm just dreading having to tell them (and my grandparents too)....it makes me sick just thinking about it!!

my last normal period was on august 28 i have not gotten my period since this date.. but i have spotted on september 28 and october 6 both times i had mild cramping and the the blood was in a very small amount and a light brownish color. i have taken two hpt tests one on 9/24 and another on 10/5 and both came back with a negative result..
** i usually am not on a regular cycle, but i have never been this late**
i also am not on the pill and have not been since january of this year.

well i lyk my bff. I am 5 wks 5 days pregnant. I have 2 sons, with both of my sons I was sick as a dog. I have no symptoms with this pregnancy. I am afraid that it is a sign that something could be wrong.
