I need to buy new bras, and since the fourth grade, I've just used training bras. I'm now in seventh grade, and I measured myself with a website, and it said that the proper size would be 34 A. Now, I'm not one to depend on a dinky little find-your-bra-size website, but do you think I should get an A cup? Or should I just stick with training bras until I'm older and a bit more developed? I'm not trying to be weird, I'd just like someone's advice. :D

Her dad left when I was pregnant and never came back. Now she is almost 7 and when they make school father's day cards, she wants to stay home. She says all her friends have dad's. Even when I point out kids that don't have a dad, or step dad's or mean dad's, she still feels bad. Can I make it better somehow? I tell her stories about her dad, that seems to make her feel more connected...

I am pregnant with my third child. I have talked to my husband, but he says that I'm the one who has to feel it, so I should make the desicion. With my first and second I got an epidural. With my first my labor was 23 hours, so I'm glad I got it and got some sleep, but with my second I was induced, and it didn't numb everything in enough time. After that, I was drowsy, not from the birth, from the epidural. Now we have a baby due at the end of March, and I am thinking of not getting an epidural, and go natural. Has anyone else used an epidural for your first and not for your next? I think I can make it through the pain, because I know what the reward is in the end. But I was wanting some advice from women that have tried this before. And have anyone tried it and not been able to deal with the pain, and ended up getting an epidural? Thanks to everyone!!

I am on birthcontrol and have been since the beginning of jan. I always get my period when I am suposed to and it uaually lasts about 6 or 7 days. Last month it was hardly even 2 days. About 3 weeks after that I have some light colored blood discharge stuff that lasted about a day. Well I should be on my period now and I have not started yet. Also last night and the night before I woke up around 5am very sick to my stomach and last night I actually had to get out of bed and sit on the couch for a while. I finally ate some crackers and it got better. How possiable is it that I might have gotten pregnant while on birth control?

My wife and I have selected our son's name and can't agree on how to spell it.

I like Graeme because it is a trditional Scottish spelling and is a little different. I think it has more character.

My wife likes Graham because people may get confused and butcher the pronunciation of Graeme.

Where we live there is a huge immigrant population, so teachers and kids are more sensitive to names now more than ever.

I am ready to admit defeat if our public says I should just shut up and listen to my wife.

I guesss I don't want to dumb down the name for those who don't want to take the time to pronounce it corectly.

What do you all think?

I just got married and we have very little my husband a problem with his credit cards and it's dragging us down the whole. Now I have to choose between groceries and birth control! Needless to say I choose food but for my husband it isn't that easy and not to gross anyone out but i can't get him off of me (I've literally had to fight him sometimes). How do i make him understand before i end up pregnant?

I am 36 weeks preggo and have called the doctor's office, just waiting for a return call. I have been having flu symptoms for about 3 days, nausea, headache( with no fever though ), achey muscles in my back and legs and very tired. Last night I started getting menstrual type cramps, they come and go about 3 every hour. They are staying consistent, not getting worse. Just wondering what you good people think while I wait for a call back.

Does anyone know of any great parenting books that show different techniques to parenting? Including them all (spanking vs. not spanking, letting them cry out vs. not letting them cry out) without making another technique bad--or not able to be used and is strictly factual. Something that also shows how this effects a child's behavior in later life.

I have the "What to Expect..." series and would like something else. I'm not much for parenting guides but I'm doing a big research project/speech for school--that counts for a big part of my grade. While I have my own views on parenting I would like my speech and project to not be biased because I am a parent and of course I feel I am doing what is "right" for my children.

Feel free to leave any comments on what you as a parent with grown children or what you as an adult experienced while growing up that had a positive/negative effect on you as an adult. I may use responses in my speech for reference.

Thank you!
