Although a lot of people will tell you things that MAY help, it's mostly tales. I tried for a year and a half, tried EVERYTHING. I finally got pregnant 7 weeks ago. It will happen. It takes longer for some people than others. Good luck.

this may sound funny but I swear this is the reason that I got pregnant. My husband and I have been trying since Jan. of this year. Nothing worked. I charted my temp and did what I was suppose to. I had heard some people say that sometimes your cervical mucus is just to thick at the time of ovulation and the little guys just can't get through and that they used Robotussin to thin cervical mucus. I thought that was a bunch of rubush. I mean come on how could that help. Well last month I was sick with a cold and taking Robotussin. I am now 5 weeks pregnant with our first child. Maybe that was what worked for us or maybe it was just good timing. Who knows....

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You need to know your cycles in order to make sure you are actually ovulating. Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and check out www.fertilityfriend.com, where you can chart your cycles for free. Also, it may be time to see your ob/gyn and check if everything is in working order. Your spouse/partner should be evaluated as well by a urologist. Lots of luck!

You have to have sex during the time that you are ovulating and that happens right after you have your period. Within those 14 days you should be ovulating and this would be the best time to have sex. If you are doing it that way maybe it's not you it could be your partner.. Good Luck!!!!
