Please do not feed your baby until at least 6 months old!! Their digestive system that is mature enough to handle solids. American and Canadian Pediatric Society recommend that you only feed them breastmilk and/or formula until then. You are putting them at higher risk of allergies when you start them on food too early.
And you don’t need to give them water or juice or anything else until they are one years old. And they recommend giving WATER before Juice and juice should be watered down.
Remember you have to feed this kid for the rest of your life…..so what’s the rush?

Baby cereal isn't made to hurt babies. How old is the baby though? I wouldn't start til the baby is 6 months old or so. Too young they will get gas and not so fun stuff for you or the baby.

Of course it wont hurt them unless they are too young. The box says 4-6 months for rice cereal but i wouldnt start until around 5 months. I think 4 months is too young. But if your worried talk to your doctor.

There is really no reason to. It isn't particularly nutritious and is highly processed. It is best to wait until they exhibit signs of readiness for solids and start with vegetables and fruits.
Go to Kellymom.com and search for solids readiness, also read up on "virgin gut."
