My 1st was early so that was that. The 2nd was coming on for 2 weeks overdue and I was so sore I didn't have much energy but the midwife said pineapple was good so my husband made sure I ate loads of the stuff(and that child is incidentally the only 1 to like pineapple!) and the 3rd was late too and I tried all the walking, scrubbing floors, hot curry (got indigestion) etc, then someone said they'd heard gin was good, so I had a couple of drinks that night and went into labour a few hours later!

Really - I do know a baby will only come when ready, but we all try something I am sure anyway!

A person used to be able to play country music while around children but don't you think the music is becoming more and more unappropriate? For example all the songs about sex and now adays it seems alcohol has become a popular subject like Tequila makes her close fall off, and Alcohol, lets get drunk and be somebody, all jacked up. Do you agree with me that they are going to have a negative effect on our kids. Its funny for adults but I don't think it should be on the radio! I have even heard the pep band at a high school basketball game play the song all jacked up!! Is it any wonder alcohol is becoming a increasing problem with our children today!

I think that was made up by a man just needing some extra nookie - not by a 2 week over due woman who can harly walk cos her pelvis feels like it's splitting in two!

Yes - I do know there is a chemical in sperm and it's all proven, but it's just one of the things that was furthest from my mind!!

How common is this? The doc didn't seem too worried about it, but my girl is a bit uncomfortable at times. How long does this last, she's 7 mos and week or two right now.

Was there anything you did that helped? She says it gets hard to hold stuff too. Doc suggested a hand braces to wear at night that holds hands at a 90 degree angle at night. What do you think?

used a zip lock bag while having sex with my fiance three weeks ago i went to the doctors for a blood test and i am.My guy thinks this is funny saying we should nick name the child zip if i am pregnant!How can i make him not act so immature i refuse to be fat and walking down the asile! I am 8 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend knows. One day he is happy the next day he doesnt want to hear about it. Sometimes i even think he doesnt want it. I dont know what i should do with him because when he acts like he doesnt care it really hurts my feelings. I know he loves me but im just confused. I just feel like everything is moving in slow motion lately. September went by SOOOO slowly. It doesn't help that I've been as sick as a dog since mid August, and I'm still just as sick (even though everyone tells me it should be over soon, I feel even worse.) It could me that I'm a school teacher and September always goes slowly, but I felt this way in August too and as a teacher that usually goes by quickly. I'm kind of glad it's going slow because I know that before we know it we will have a baby and our lives will be flipped upside down in feedings and other nightly rituals. But I was just wondering if anyone else's pregnancy felt like this?

i feel a lot of a bubbly sensation for the past wk or so and i wonder if thats the baby moving but i havent felt him kick and im worried, the doc said i was suppose to feel the kick as soon as i was 21wks. its been 2wks and nothin. can someone tell me about the bubbly sensation and why i havent felt the kick? should i be worried?

My son has not been gaining weight so the ped told me to pump to make sure he's getting good amount... well I am nearly dried up and didn't realise (I am 3 1/2 months pregnant) btw, yes I am aware that they get more than you would from pumping. Anyhow, he drank the first bottle of formula without a problem and then the 2nd we had more trouble, the 3rd, he refused it completely! I would pump and do half breastmilk but I am bfing him before offering him the bottle (as per ped) and by the time he finishes he is crying because he's still hungry... no more breastmilk to pump. I need any advice please.

Is it normal to not feel the baby moving up towards my ribs, when my uterus is moving up that way. It seems there's room in there that he's not using, and he's staying really low. Could that mean that he's not growing right, and he's small? He moves a lot, my tummy's not really big either. Wouldn't he be using all the room now if he's between like 2-4pnds now, I've read, and about 15inches long or so? Thanks, I'm sure you can tell this is my 1st pregnancy!!!!

I have a single family home, I have an upstairs (like a loft, but not) There are two bedrooms and my six month old shares a room with my 2 year old. Should I tell my husband to get busy on upstairs for us so my daughter can have my room, or should I wait until an age when it's not okay to have a boy and a girl in the same room. Anyone ever had or know someone who had a blood test that came back negative and she was really pregnant? Or does anyone know that there are two types of blood test and one is only just as accurate as a urine test? Tell me your stories please? This works for me, as my oldest son is getting his Masters Degree, my second son is joining the Navy in Dec, my daughter just began her first year of college... now, I have a 15 yr and an 11 yr old step son. I'm taking a pole on what you all believe are the "responsibilities" of a "step mom"... we have full custody of the boys (but their mother is alive and well - lives close by). She is active in the boys' life now, so I "step" back, and hope that she'll be the Mother, and allow me to be the Step mother... What is everyone else out there doing?? My husbad is a very strong disiplinarian - I'm very lucky there. Life is pretty good; just was wondering, because there are alot of issues out there with other step moms.

well while my freind and his girl where having sex he ejaculated with the condom on he kept on having intercourse. When he pulled out he did not hold on to the condom and some of it was still in her. he pulled it out right away but he is scared that his girlfreind might get pregnant.

can you receive a miscarriage by not eating right, or would the baby be premature. Or does it matter how far along you are, and if so, how many months would be too much to misscarry..im not pregnant, just curious.
